I set my privacy controls higher to block the ads but then i couldn't log on. I'm worried this site might make my dinosaur computer crash, but I also can't live with out my mamapedia fix.
Is there another trick to keeping this site loading quickly? has something changed?

There's a darn ad covering a button that I want to click on and instead I keep opening another window for an ad. How frustrating is that??!!
I have this trouble and it's a new computer. NOTHING slows my computer like MP.

same here and I'm on a mac. this very site took my dinosaur computer out about 3 months back. DO NOT CLICK ON ANY ADS.

It's most likely not the site, you need to degrag your computer and or ask for some professinal help cleaning up your system.
Mine is working out. How is the weather? Maybe that is making it slow? Is this the only website that is slow for you?
We have all kinds of ad blocks, and I wonder if that's why mampedia has never slowed down ours...? Could you try getting some addition virus and ad block protection?
