I am finding my way back into reading novels. Can anyone recommend a good mystery title for me? Years ago I read Sue Grafton novels. I could pick up where I left off but its always nice to have a recommendation.

I LOVE books by James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell and also Nora Roberts writing as JD Robb. All of them have a series of books and keeps the main character and changes crimes and mysteries. All of thier books are great so I do not have a specific title to give!

Happy reading and blessings to you!

I also recommend James Patterson. I have not finished the Alex Cross series (there are so many), but I absolutely love the Women's Murder Club series. These are the ones with a numeral in their titles (First to Die, Second Chance, Third Degree, etc.) There are currently eight books in the series.

Also, Brad Meltzer has some great crime mysteries. The Millionaires was excellent. First Counsel, Dead Even and the Tenth Justice were also really good. However, as an fyi, having kids around, I find Patterson to be an easier read. Meltzer has alot of characters and alot of twists. Happy Reading!

I would definitely recommend anything by Joy Fielding or James Siegel ~ both two of my favorite authors. Joy Fielding's new one "Charley's Web" is fantastic, but her others are great as well. There's always a twist at the end. Happy summer and happy reading!
