Fav Sunscreens for You and the Kids?

Hi Ladies, Before I waste another $30 on sunscreen that's okay (bought three last year -- Johnson & Johnson, which was super thick, the Neutragena baby stick, and another I can't remember), I thought I'd ask what brands of sunscreen you all like best. Just got a new Aveeno one (spf 30, says all natural, but kids seemed to burn through it even though we were only outside less than a couple of hours). I like the sticks for faces -- my boys are 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 -- but the Neutrogena one I got last year left white marks that I ended up...

Baby Eczema - PLEASE HELP

My four month old daughter developed eczema about one month ago. I took her to the peds and she diagnosed her with milk protein sensitivity. Ped recommended switch to hypoallergenic formula (Enfamil Nutramigen). She's been on new formula for almost two weeks (will be two weeks on Friday). It is a little better MOST days, but yesterday her skin looked terrible again. I am so discouraged and frustrated (not to mention worried). Has anyone else had this experience? How long does it take for the milk protein to leave her body? I am thinking she...

Daughter Came Home from Camp W/ Hives

My nine year old daughter came home from camp with a HORRIBLE case of hives. The hives cover her entire body and in many places they are huge welts. My thermometer is not working, but it seems like she might have a temp. I don't know of any food allergies she has and am wracking my brain about what could have caused this. This is her first time at camp and I know maybe it could be nerves, but I wouldn't imagine that nerves would cause such a terrible case of hives! Have any of you ever had your children ever gotten a case of hives from...

How Often Take a Bath for a 3 y.o. Going to Preschool Every Day??

Hello, My kid at just over 3 years old is going to preschool every morning (8 - 12:30) Mon thru Fri. They do outside play including sand box, play gears etc. for about an hour and the rest is indoor activities. Would you bath the kid every day after school or every other day (which we are currently doing) should be fine? Thanks very much for your valuable inputs in advance!

Sunscreen for 1 Yr Old

Hello moms! My daugther will be 1 this summer, and my family is a very outdoorsy family. We spend a ton of time outside, at the lake, on the water, ect. ect. I am wanting to hear your opinions on which sunscreen you found worked best, or which one you preferred to use on a child of this age. There are so many brands that carry specialty sun block for babies, and I want one that doesnt cause her skin to break out (since she will probly be using it often), and most importantly stays on and protects her from the sun. I look foreward to hearing...

Note: He refuses to take a shower after we swim (or at any other time). Thanks. best, P., the luckiest dad in the world
