Kid with Not-so-severe Allergy Being Separated at School Lunch

A little background: when my son was a year old he got hives around his mouth after eating a bunch of French toast. I gave him Benadryl and washed him off...he was fine in 20 minutes. I took him to an allergist and my son tested positive for eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts. At 2 yrs old, the allergist ordered a blood test, which came back negative for everything. I was thrilled...thought he could start eating those items. Nope. Allergist said blood test really just says he is likely to grow out of the allergies or that they aren't that severe....

Seeking Skin Care Products for Baby with Skin Allergy

My adorable one year-old has had skin allergy to products with fragrancies since she was 3 monthes old. We use Aveeno, wash & lotion, and love it, we also have a standing prescription for hydrocordizone. It works and does not break her out, but with summer fast aproaching I need a good sunscreen and bugspray. Hypo-allerginic and Fragrance Free! Cost at this point does not matter, she got bitten by mosquitos this weekend and her leg swelled so bad, we may need a prescription for it but if ya'll have any suggestion before we call our doc that...

New to Eczyma

My son was just "diagnosed" wth eczyma. He is 2 years old and it is driving him crazy. I don't know anything about this problem and would love any ideas everyone has for how to prevent his outbreaks, how to soothe his skin, and just what can I do to make this easier for him. Help from Parents Who Have Children with Tics and Repetitive Habits.

I know there's got to be other parents out there who are dealing with or have dealt with children who have tics. My son is 4 1/2 years old. His most recent repetitive behavior is putting his chin down to his chest, moving his head from side to side (ear to ear) and shrugging his shoulders. Exzema at 10 Weeks-what to Do?

My 10 week old son has exzema on his body...it's very mild and probably due to dry weather. He doesn't scratch at it or anything--it's a mild rash on his body. The dr. told me to use Aveeno baby (unscented) lotion a couple times a day to keep his skin moisturized and not to wash him with soap in his bath. Also, he said I could use .5% hydocortisone cream. I did for a few days but I don't want to apply it to his entire body so I stopped and have only used Aveeno lotion. He has some on his face too which the dr. told me to use Aquafor but...
