It looks like they are trying to be a mini cooper and I hate it. Stay what you are and stop trying to be anything else. I love the cute look of the bug. There is even a bug with eyelashes around my town. I personally wouldn't do it, but it's cute to look at.
Masculine? A bug will never be masculine.

I like it. It's appearance is a combination of the original bug and the newer beetle. I miss the original. It was my favorite.

I drive a bug to work, it is my comuter car - and I have to say, I would trade up for that one any day! I REALLY like it! It looks a little sportier, but I think that they have kept it looking enough like a bug too. I think they did a good job.
No I dont' like it. It looks too much like every one else's.
It'll be too hard to play Slug Bug you're it at 70 mph.
But that's just my opinion.

I completely agree with MegandOllie. I love the old Beetle, and the New Beetle, but this 2012 Beetle just looks wrong. I had a blue Beetle the first year the New Beetle came out, and then got a green one in 2004. I loved both of them. Now I have a Mazda 3 that is great, too, but I miss my Beetles. I told my husband that I would probably get another Beetle when I trade in my Mazda, but I don't want the 2012 Beetle. Hopefully they will go back to the old style.
Honestly, I think it looks like a cheaper version of a Porsche. It's cute, but it would not be practical for me and my family. Now if I were a single, trendy gal, this would be a car I would consider.
