I am again having issues posting answers on this site. I hope I'm not alone in this. Anyone else having issues.
I haven't been silent all week just unable to post.
What has been happening to me is like if you accidently hit the 'insert' button on your keyboard. Sometimes the space bar doesn't work and combine 2 words or only parts of words type but not the whole word and when I go back to correct the word the fix will take a long time to show in the text.
Testing a reply - I just tried to respond to a question but when I hit Post it took be to the Mamapedia start page.
I sometimes do - but I can't figure out if it's Mamapedia or some issue on my end such as slow internet speed. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason.
However, I often notice that I click "post" and nothing happens, so I am tempted to click a second time. This sometimes results in a double-post - and I often see that the same thing has happened to someone else, because I read their answer and then see the word "updated" and then the exact same post, all within the same box. So that's different from someone who posts and later goes back to update it, if that makes sense.
I've I'm not incredibly careful during this delay (which can take a minute or longer), and if I let the cursor wander such that it hovers over another icon, then a new site will come up on my screen, and Mamapedia will be lost. So if I see that things are slow or if I am writing something detailed, I often write in a word document, then copy & paste into Mamapedia. I don't erase that word document until I'm totally sure that my answer has posted. I've spent too much time really working on an answer and then POOF it's gone. Grrrr....
I also find I often have to click on "send a flower" a bunch of times before it registers.
Not sure if this is at all what you are undergoing, but I offer it up for your entertainment nonetheless!
I'm just now back on after a little MP break. I was able to write three responses (four if this one works) this morning. Occasionally, I have trouble being able to send flowers. In the past, I have also had problems with my responses disappearing when I hit post. Then, there will be a period of time with no problems. It's not just you, R.!
It's been working alright for me. I can post and send flowers - but a few others have been having issues.
I access the site from my laptop.
it hasn't ever NOT let me post, just the flower and back-page issue. i'll respond more fully in the SWH in my recent post.

The other day I wrote a response and went to post. It looked like it had but it didn't appear. So I'm not sure what happens to our responses when that happens.
At times I have not been able to send flowers. I shut down the site and reopened and it then worked.
My biggest issue is the drag or how slow the site is at times. It's only now and then.
No trouble for me... still able to post, send and receive flowers...

Hi everyone! First, thanks R. for reporting your issue. And thanks to everyone else for your comments as well. I know posting issues can be frustrating. We are now alerted to this problem and are looking into it. If anyone runs into this type of issue again please report it at once. You can either message me, or simply use the REPORT or CONTACT US links on any page. Try to include any specifics you can, such as Browser, Operating System, type of device, and exact nature of the problem. These are vital clues that will help us pinpoint and fix the problem ASAP. Having problems with my answers going away when I click post. I've, fortunately, got in the habit of copying my answers before I hit post. Then I have it where I can open it back up and just paste my answer again and again if I need to. Until it goes through.
