I use Folex for carpet stains and it always gets them up. I get it at Lowes but I think Home Depot has it, too.

I actually use good old Shout stain remover on the spots on our carpet and let them sit for several hours. I then use a carpet scrubber to scrub the entire carpet if it's been awhile since the last scrubbing--just because water rings can happen. Keep in mind that the type of scrubber you use does make the difference as well; I've used all scrubbers available to the general public and found the Hoover steam vac to be the absolute best. It has the rotating spin brush action instead of the beater-bar as most of the others. GL

I'm assuming you mean the spotting that occurs after the child has layed their baba on the floor and it drips out of the nipple? I remember have those dots all over my livingroom floor back in the day. I'm surprised none of the new carpet stain removers arent working for you.... ya know like oxyclean or whatever. You might just have to treat them several times before you can get them out. I would say a preventative would be the better way to go and not let kids wander thru the house with their bottle. They should have to stay in one place and drink it or it goes back on the kitchen counter till they want it again. Thats what I would do now if I had it to do over.

I also had this issue..and it was getting pretty ugly to look at. We rented a Rug Doctor from our local Safeway and we had to go over the worst spots a few times but it came up and the carpet was as clean as it was new. I think for everyting (wide track rug doctor, upholstery attachment, and floor/upholstery cleaner) it was approximately $40 for 24 hours. We cleaned much more than just the carpets though...did all the upholstered furniture and our cars. It did a great job!

Before you spend any $ try good ole fashion club soda. It works every time for me, old stain or new.
