I Phone Case for Kids

I got a I phone for my son. He is walks to and from school and is very active on his bike and so on. I got a $80 life proof case that the store had thinking this would really protect his phone, but after talking to people and looking it up on line now I am worried this is not the best case for him. I as a adult have droped my phone a ton of times so I'm expecting his phone to go though twice as much. Any moms out there know of great cases that hold up for kids? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

The Otterbox is not indestructible....ask my husband who broke his within the first week (should add the phone was fine). However, for the average person they are the best bet. My husband is not average, he can and does find a way to break anything and everything, and not intentionally.

The otter box is indestructible! Ask my 15 yr old who had a nice spider web crack across the front of her screen from dropping it with some piece of garbage case she bought at the mall. . Our neighbor works for Verizon & one of the things they claim this case can withstand is the weight of a car....well, according to her daughter& friend this holds true! The case was damaged, but not the phone!

The one you bought will be fine. My 2 yo plays with mine all the time and it is fine. He's thrown it to the ground from a shopping cart and it lived to tell the tale. My dad and stepmother have both dropped theirs in the ocean and they've survived. Stick with the one you've got and inspect it regularly.

I LOVE my lifeproof case. The otterbox was waaaaaay too bulky for me.

I have an otter box defender case for my iphone. My kids don't have their own phones, but they have dropped mine several times and so far it has survived!

I've had my iPhone for a little over a year and never have bought a case for it. I've dropped it about 4 times (I freak out each time expecting for the face to be cracked or for it not to work) and that phone is solid... still no probs with it.
