Problems with Bedtime

My daughter Morgan is two and a half and never goes to sleep without screaming for at the least thirty minutes to the most and hour. I have no idea what to do to make this easier for me and her??? I have tried staying in the room with her to calm her down and she ends up kicking me and screaming more. I have also tried making her stay in her room by herself and cry herself to sleep but that is breaking my heart... i keep her on a pretty strict routine i pick her up from school and we come home eat, take a bath, play together, read, and...

My 4 Year Old Little Girl Having Nightmares and WILL Not Sleep in Her Own Bed...

Like I said I have a 4 year old little girl and she says she has nightmares at least 3 to 4 times a week and we have tried all kinds of things like having water in a spray bottle and squirting it ALL around her room and telling her that is the monster and nightmare spray to make it go away.. It didn't help.. We give her a night light, she still cries waking up.. As well, staying with her until she falls asleep, that doesn't work she will wake up screaming if she is alone.. She doesn't even like to stay inside our house if we are outside.....

Advice on Nap Schedule and Tantrums

My son sleeps through the night, asleep by 9 p.m. and awake at 7 a.m. He generally takes a 45 minute morning nap at about 9 a.m. After that we do not have a schedule. I can not get him to take more than a 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon even though he gets very crabby and tired. Another problem we have is...we rock our son to sleep. I know they say not to but he was 7 weeks early and had horrible acid reflux. Out doctor just said to do what ever we had to do in order to get him to sleep. We also had to hold him a lot. Well, of course...

Disneyland for a 22 Month Old?

I am able to get into Disneyland for FREE on my birthday this year... and I really want to go!! But there are several questions/concerns.... my son will be 22 months at the time... is this too young? Will he actually enjoy it? What about naptime? Should I wait till he's a little bit older and maybe not taking naps? So I don't have to worry about a REALLY cranky toddler? My husband doesn't really want to go... I don't want to force him to go and then end up having a cranky little boy... The only person we'd have to pay for is my husband...

Toddler "Princess" Reactions

My two year old daughter has pretty strong reactions to getting "yucky" while eating. If she gets yogurt on her finger, she can't eat another bite until it's cleaned off. Same thing for mayo from a sandwich or if some of her cereal drops on her chair in front of her. She just wines and sticks her hand out at me until I clean it up. I've been giving the cue "yucky" to her, and telling her to ask for a napkin to "clean up", but it all seems a bit "princess"y to me. I expect her to get messy when she eats. This melt down in the face of food...
