I am not afan of the huge blow up status in the yards. I prefer things more simple.
I am wanting the little wooden yard art that you see. Normally it has a spotlight that shines on the wooden yard art at night.
I am not sure what they are called. This will be my first time decorating for the holidays.

We bought ours at the Farmers Branch Senior Center craft fair which is Oct. 23 this year. We like them so much we've bought them as gifts for family members too. They are on the corner of Dennis Lane and Valwood Parkway.
I see wood signs all around in places like Garden Ridge, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Joanns. For uplights a good solar-powered spotlight at Home Depot works great with no wires for kids to trip on in the dark, as long as they get sunlight.
You might check some of the craft fairs that will be coming up. I know that I have seen them at the JJ Pearce Pacesetter Fair and this year it is on the weekend of Oct. 23rd located on Coit just south of Campbell.
Theres a huge lot of them for sale on Preston, in Frisco. If you're driving North, they're on the left. I'm unsure of the cross streets. It's past the mall, Target, etc.

There is also a location off of Hebron between Marsh Ridge and Marsh that has this type of decor outside on display and for sale.
I saw some Halloween and Fall wooden decor at Michael's in McKinney (intersection of 75 and 380) last week. You might want to try Hobby Lobby in Allen as well.
I have been painting and selling upscale yard art since 2000. I have a fan page on Facebook...Seasons & Celebrations. We sell our art at Park Place Trees, at the northwest corner of Charles St. and Hebron (Park). It is about 2 blocks west of Prestonwood church.
