With both of my pregnancies I was not able to get a positive pregnancy test result until my period was a week late. Different women have different amounts of the pregnancy hormones in their system - especially early on. Sometimes you just have to be patient....it is hard!

I always take the test anytime and it has always been accurate. I usually wait until I'm a few days late or past 35 days since my last period... Good luck to you!

Not everyone experiences morning sickness when they are pregnant. It is best to take the test in the morning (if you want it to show up faster, that's the best time of day), but you don't have to. Wait until your a week past due for your period.

I am not sure if another time is better. You cannot make it show up faster since it is all based on the levels of the pregnacy hormone (hcg). My test showed a positive result with my 1st five days before my period and I toko it at noon. WIth the current bump inmy belly I tested positive ta 8 pm at night one week before my period. Alot of women do not show a positive reult till they have missed their period or days after. The say morning because chances are that is when the hormone is most likey to show up on a test rather than later when it can be masked with the foods and drinks you have. I nly started testign early with this baby because I remember with my 1st they said my hormone levels were really high. NOt a bad thing but can be why I show a posiutive test earliar than most.

I had better luck with test accuracy using EPT rather than Equate brand (Walmart's generic). But with home pregnancy tests, sometimes you just have to wait a little longer. I was 8 weeks pregnant with my second baby before I got a positive on a home pregnancy test. If the not knowing had really been driving me crazy, I would have gone to the doctor for a blood test. Good luck!

You can take a pregnancy test anytime during the day. They tell you to take it in the mornign because your hormones are more concentrated in your urine due to that you usually do not urinate all night. However you will not get a positive test until it is 10 days after conception. and even then it depends on how high your hormones are in order to get a positive test. It is always best to wait until you have a missed cycle, because depending on when you ovulate it may not be 10 days before you miss your cycle. If the test does not come back positive at first wait 2-3 days before taking another one. Good luck!!!! And just so you know you may not ever get morning sickness with a pregnancy. the pregnancy symptoms are also a sign that you are ovulating or may be due to something else. So if you dont have a positive test after 2 see your primary care doctor and they can do some blood tests for pregnancy which is more accurate then a urine test and can also determine if there is another reason you are ahving these symptoms. Hope this is helpful to you!

I would wait until you have missed your period by at least one day however there is a test that you can take up to 6 days before your missed period...I wouldn't take it any sooner then that...I know it's hard to wait and I took tests in the am and at night and it doesn't seem to make a difference! If you are close to the day you would get your period take one now. Everyone is different but morning sickness may not come until you are at least 6-8 weeks along or you may not even get it! GOOD LUCK!

Depending on the test some can be taken upto a week early. IF you take a test take it in the morning after a normal night sleep and make sure you don't over drink before going to bed. You don't want to wake up and have to use the bathroom and ruin the test by deluting it.
Some women will never have morning sickness. Some women want to be pregant so bad they have faulse symptoms. I would call your Dr. and have them call in a blood pregancy test at your local hospital it is about $20 with or without insurance but blood is the fastest way to know for sure if that test is neg. you are not prego, if it's positive well then Congrats!

I would at least wait untill the 3rd or 4th day after my missed period. Also a little secret for you ladies out there, I have never bought a name brand pregnancy test and I am on my third pregnancy. I went to Dollar General and the Dollar Tree to get their one dollar pregnancy test and it accurately told me that I was pregnant and it accurately told me when I wasn't. You are just paying for the name. Also for all your curious expectant moms out there, I took the baby gender predictor(I know I am such a sucker) and it told me I was having a girl. I cried because I was hoping for a boy after two girls and this is my last pregnancy. I know, I know I shouldn't have put any stock into it but I did. Well imagine my suprise and relief when I definitely see a little wee wee in between the baby's legs on the sonogram. So it is not 100 percent accurate just in case you do decide to get one. Good luck and I hope you are.
