What Was the Last Movie That Made You Cry?

UP- the cartoon yes it made me cry
Milk- love Sean Pen makes me cry
The movies that really get me every time- Steel Magnolias, and Hope Floats and I am Sam
I swear every time I have PMS one of these movies is on and seriously I just cry my way through the entire show.

The last movie I saw that made me cry was Despicable Me (at the end where he kisses them) and Toy Story 3. Some movies that make me cry every time are the little mermaid, born to be wild, ghost and bridge to terabithia.

I don't remember the last movie that made me cry, but I can give you a short list of ones that I definitely cry (like, the ugly cry with nose bubbles & all, not just 2 soft tears rolling silently down my cheek). P.S. I love you is a doozy for me & especially The Notebook (because it practically could have been written about my grandparents), Pay It Forward, Schindler's List (had to leave the theatre when I saw this in high school with my history class), I know there are a million others, but those are the first that came to mind.

Great question.... I don't remember the last one that made me cry but there have been a few in my life that I "felt" so much for the characters that I still remember them and still cry if I watch them again. The very first movie that ever made me cry was a movie called "Without A Trace." Judd Hirsch (from Taxi) and Stockard Channing (Rizzo from Grease) starred in it. I can't remember the name of the actress that plays the mom in this moving but it is the most touching movie I have ever seen. It's about a boy that goes missing. I still remember the 1st time I ever saw it was at home with my parents and sisters. I was 15 and we were having weekly family dinner and a movie night. When it was over there was not a dry eye in the house. Even my Dad, who NEVER cried had tears streaming down his face. (Of course he said anyone who wouldn't be moved by this movie is heartless S.O.B....lol) Highly recommend this movie, if you haven't seen it, go rent it. Schindler's List...I had to close my eyes through alot of that because I can not witness such cruelty. In fact I've never made it all the way through Roots. I wind up crying so much that I just can't bare to watch it. I literally "feel" so much for the people in those true life stories that I get myself all worked up. How can anyone be so cruel to another human being...I just can not fathom it. Moving on to love stories, of course the NOTEBOOK is one of our all time fav movies ever. We both teared up watching that one. And Titanic....what a great movie, I mean we all knew how it was going to end but what a beautiful way to tell the story. Steel Magnolias was another tear jerker for me. Let's not forget Beaches.... Oh I could go on and on.

This may sound silly, but the first tinkerbell movie makes me cry everytime. The ending part when they fly towards the main land and transform the little park into spring is so beautiful I weep like a silly school girl. My husband always laughes at me because he thinks it's cute. :P

Oh, and the beginning part of UP. The whole life of Carol and Ellie and then with it ending at Ellie's funeral. Even my husband gets tears in his eyes.

The movie that made me cry the hardest was Bridge to Terabithia. We saw it for the first time last year. As I watched the boy go to school after the girl died, (I had lost my best friend when I was 12) I murmured to my husband, "I remember that." It all flooded back to me. Going back to school, feeling so alienated and alone even though people were there to offer comfort. Feeling like the world had just punched me in the face and I was numb to everything around me. Before I knew it I was curled up on the floor crying so hard I couldn't breath. Even though it had been 27 years later, it felt like I just found out my friend had died. So weird.

Everything makes me cry, Y., I'm a hormonal explosion.

Was watching The Bridge To Terabithia with my daughter recently. I hadn't read the book, she had.

I was STUNNED when the kid died. I could NOT BELIEVE THEY HAD TO MAKE THE KID DIE!!! OMG such a beautiful story, then BAM! the kid DIES.

Actually it didn't make me cry, it just pissed me off.

The Notebook, and Simon Birch. OMG. I don't cry at many movies, but these two I flowed like a river for 20 minutes afterward.

To name a few.... My sister's Keeper... Marley and Me.... UP (yes, the kids movie!).... But I cry every week with the Secret Millionaire, I'm just that type of person, my husband always looks over to see if the tears are coming down yet :-)

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

I cry at everything, even some Hallmark commercials. Thats me, the watering pot. But "Sucker Punch", ...ah, nope (saw it last Friday).

I get movies from the library (I go online, peruse the lists, click reserve, then randomly get emails saying they are ready for me...works sweet..but occasionally they are NOT what I thought I was getting! LOL). Last batch had a historical romance type of movie called "Bright Star" (2009). The story of poet John Keats and his 19th century romance with Fanny Brawne. He died at the age of 25 or 26, and when he does, and she gets the message...the way she cries...I just busted into tears (unexpectedly...I watch alot of these sorts of movies and know how "dramatically" they are acted and portrayed..but this just BAM...got me!)....

But as I said for me, a tear falls easily, but this was like crazy crying..LOL!

I cried my eyes out during Grey's Anatomy last night, but I can't remember the last movie I teared up at. I think I cried a little at the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but then, I love those books/characters so much! :-)

"The Way We Were" was on TV last weekend and although I've seen it a million times, I cry at the end every single time.
That's the most recent one that comes to mind for me.

Love comes Softly....OMG...I might get glassy eyed with some of the other movies...but this movie made me sob!!!!!!!!!

I too cried at last weeks Gray's anatomy but I now can't remember why.

Beauty and the Beast..Don't judge me LOL! And I rember the cartoon called "the rescuer's", yup, cried like a baby! But last night my husband and I watched a movie called "Conviction" starring Hillary Swank, it's a true story and we were BOTH in tear's! Such an emotional roller coaster but with a happy ending! The sacrafice's that were made in that movie and the "brother-sister" bond was awesome! Definately not a movie for kid's because of the language used..

I'm a sucker for dog movies, so My Dog Skip would be at the top of my list of tearjerkers. Also, Marley and Me.
I watched Boy in the Striped Pajamas with my son after they read the book in school a couple of years ago, and we BOTH cried.
My family makes fun of me for crying at stuff (books, commercials, TV shows, you name it), but I don't care - it's alot cheaper than therapy :)

Grave of the Fireflies. It's like an anime about two children basically starving to death in a cruel Japan right after teh firebombings from US planes during WWII.

We coincidentally happened to watch it like the day after the tsunami in Japan.

Also, The Kite Runner. Such a touching and upsetting movie.

Most recently I cried (several times) during "Toy Story 3." Before that, it was "It's A Wonderful Life." That one is a guaranteed tear-fest. Cathartic tears, though. "To my brother George, the richest man in town." Gulp! Kleenex please!

I have only ever cried at three movies...yes, three. I am not a big cryer but these movies got me.
--Steel Magnolias-when Sally Fields is crying after funeral and asking why Shelby had to die.
--Hope Floats-when the little girl is trying to leave with her father after the funeral and he won't take her.
--The Patriot-when the youngest daughter finally spoke to her father (Mel Gibson) asking him not to leave.
I have seen these movies dozens of times and I still cry at those parts...even when I know their coming up! Good question!!!

I'm a crier. Just about anything can make me cry - but recently I watched "The Blind Side" (I'm only slightly behind on the movie scene). :)

Often the show "Parenthood" makes me cry too.

Well the most recent new movie I have seen is Tangled and yes I balled through most of the movie. Granted I am pregnant but still.....it just got to the little girl inside of me.

The husband look made me laugh out loud!

Last thing to make me cry was Casey's reaction to being saved on American Idol! I cry at everything these days!

The kids movies I've cried at are Up, Toy Story 3, and Nanny McPhee Returns.
My movies too many to mention, but here are a few......The Notebook, The Last Song, The Blind Side, Saving Private Ryan, Titanic (of course), ET, and many mnay more, just can't think of them all right now.
I will say even my husband cried at The Notebook, and when I went to watch it with a friend most of the men in the movie theater were crying as the lights went up.
I love a good cry when watching a movie, it shows how our stories all connect....we are all human after all.
