I like Brielle. I think it's elegant and classy. Cameron is pretty popular. You could call her Elle or Bri for short. My son's name is super popular (Aidan) and my daughter is not (Kyah pronounced like Mya with a K). I know a little girl with the name Cameron and to be honest it sounds more boyish to me.

My own experience tells me being pregnant affects how we pick baby names. (I said ok to my husband's choice, didn't give it much thought while I was pregnant.) Cameron is ok but Brielle sounds pretentious and made up. I hope I'm not offending you; I'm just giving an honest opinion. Whatever happened to "regular" names...Amy, Jessica, Emily, etc.....now those would be "original" and sound really beautiful.

What about Ella? Or Gabrielle? Classic and elegant.

Good luck, Be safe and have a wonderful delivery.

Having narrowed down the choices to 2 names, you could always wait until she arrives and see which one suits her best. Brielle seems more feminine. Both are nice, but if i had to choose, i like Brielle.

Write out the childs whole name and then the initails AND then wait until baby arrives. She may "look" like a name, maybe even one you hadn't loved in the first place. By writing it all out you can see what she will see for the rest of her life. Think about the pronunciation and will it sound different than it looks. Will she always have to explain her name? Just some things to consider. I have a Sierra and an Isabella and baby #3 on the way. I have stuck to the "classic" spellings so they don't have to explain their names. Baby 3 will get the same classic spelling. Not even sure of a name and won't know sex for another 10 weeks. Both the names you have are pretty so just go with your heart when you see her. A.

Hi B., I vote for Brielle. The following website is a good one for baby names: http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/ Once you are on the page for the name click on the "Considering this name?" tab and you can see what people with this name think. If you are into what a name means, Cameron means "bent nose" and Brielle has the same meaning as Gabrielle "God is my might". Good luck with the new baby.

Both names are nice, but Cameron is also a boy's name, so you might want to consider gender confusion on the part of strangers, when she is older.

Both names are very pretty for a sweet little baby girl. I do like Brielle a little more because it is a bit more feminine. Nice that you and your baby will have the same initials with Brielle too. That's special. Witch of the two names goes along nicely with your other 3 daughters' names? Good luck and God bless you all.

Cameron's my pick. I just think it's a stronger name. And it's easier to spell - with Brielle, she might have a lifetime of people mispelling her name. My name's A., so I know how that feels.

Both are great picks! See how each name works with your last name. Also, consider what her initials will be. You don't want initials that may spell something embarrassing!
If Brielle works really well with your last name and middle name picks and the initials are good I think I might lean towards that one! It is very pretty and feminine. Although Cameron is classic, gender neutral and cool!

I love Brielle! How beautiful! I also love that you just gave the name choices for your soon-to-be youngest without telling the names of the older girls to see what "fit." She's her own unique person and I'm sure the name you decide on will suit her perfectly!

Dear B.,

I love the name Cameron. I have a little girl in my daycare who is now four and I have cared for since infancy. She is such a special little girl, sweet, smart, and funny. Not that Brielle is not also a pretty name. For some reason I associate names with people and the Cameron I know is a sweetheart. Congratulations on your fourth WOW!!! you are blessed. Good luck and Happy Holidays!!

Cameron is a very cool girl's name! I have to admit, though- Brielle has wonderful nickname potential. I think Bri and Elle (or Ella) are gorgeous...

Not very helpful, huh? :) They are both lovely!

I think that either name is beautiful. My husband and I had our first baby in February of this year and couldn't decide on the name until we actually saw her.

Maybe it will come to you then.

Also, I like both nicknames that both names present... Cam, Bri or Elle.. if you don't like one of the nicknames maybe that can help you with your decision?

Also, I had to look up Brielle.. (here is what it means although you probably already know!):

Meaning: Its source is Gavriela, a Hebrew name meaning "Hero of God."

Nickname For: Gabrielle

Popularity: The name Brielle ranked 670th in popularity for females of all ages in a sample of 2000-2003 Social Security Administration statistics.

Good luck & Congratulations!
