Anyone have suggestions for good toys for an 18 month old boy? We have gift cards to Toys R Us and I am looking for ideas. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Little People toys are great at this age. There are so many to choose from so you can find ones that fit the things he's most interested in.

Blocks of any kind are also great. My daughter (20 months) just got some megablocks as a hand me down and she is loving them. My 5 year old is playing with them too! Lego Duplos are good too, especially a basic set that just comes with bricks and doesn't make a specific item once they're built.

My son loved the Fisher Price Racing Ramps garage. He got that for Christmas when he was about 14 mos, and played with it until he was around 4. I highly recommend this toy!

I got my daughter a bouncing horse that can hook up to the TV for video games. She is now 3 and still uses it almost daily. We've never even hooked it up to the TV. She is just as happy with it not being hooked up. Here is a link on Amazon, and I know they use to make a Zebra. When I got it at Toys R Us years ago, I didn't pay $99. I paid closer to $50. They may not make the pony anymore, but I'm sure you can find something like it.
