Hi Moms!

I am looking for reasonably priced, effective swim lessons for my 4.5 year old daughter and 2 year old son in the East Valley. What have all of you used? We do not have a private or community pool to meet with an instructor. Please let me know people or places you have used. Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

We go to Teacher Lyndas and have taken my daughter there since she was 3 mo old (she is now 3 1/2 and swims without assistance). You can call and see if she has reccomendations of a place closer to you ro drive (she had a family that drove all the way from Gila Bend to take her swim lessons) Highly reccommended. Here is her number

Each city has a parks and recreation department that puts out a brochure of classes offered by the city. They offer swim lessons, amongst a bunch of other fun class --some even been free or only $5. Most are around $30-40 for swimming, gymnastics, dance, etc. We have done the swim lessons in Tempe ta the Kiwanis Park and they were great, with a variety of times to choose from. We don't even in live in Tempe and they don't care. I'd recommend looking at all the cities brochures near to where you live.

I LOVE Hubbard Family Swim School! They are fantastic! They teach swimming skills and safety skills, like backfloats. They have lots of class times to choose from and are reasonably priced at $75/month for weekly 30 minute classes. I'm so glad we started taking my daughter there when she turned 1 and am so excited to see her progress as she gets older.
