Help! I am spotting in my 7th week. I noticed yesterday while using the bathroom that there was pink when I wiped. During the day it turned brown/pink. I have NO cramping. I went to the doctor today for an internal ultrasound. They saw the yolk sack but no baby inside? The tech said it could be because I am so early into my pregnancy for the embro to be seen?
I didn't spot with my first child so I am scared.
Help
Thanks N.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Updated: I miscarried on Wednesday. I am crushed, but life goes on. Thank you for being there for me

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
My doc called me to read the sonagram readings. I am measuring smaller than what we had me marked at. From my last period I should be 6.7 weeks but by the sonagram I measure 4.7. SO it sort of makes sense that the embryo wasn't seen this time cause I am so early into it. They want me to comeback next Thrursday for a second sonagram with doc appt to follow to give me some conclusion on this.
This morning with my first morning urine it was red. I was the most I've seen. It happened yesteday morning too. During the course of the day it slows and turns brown. I have to just wait and see.
Send prayers please

Hi N.!
Like Kelly said, it is OK. The important thing here is for you to relax. A little pink is OK. You shouldn't worry unless you were bleeding bad like a period. Brown blood is old blood or tissue that has just been "lying around" and the body is now flushing it. The bright red blood is what you have to worry about. Pink is OK. I had that happen with my third child at the age of 36 (high risk). So of course since my OB put me in the high risk category, I got scared and went in. Everything was fine and normal. And I'm sure you will be OK also! Good luck with your pregnancy!
AMH :)

i spotted from the 3 week until after the 12th week. it was constant bleeding. since it started so early they couldn't find out what was going on but the sacks were there and i think until the 8th or 9th week when they found the hearbeats as well.
bleeding without cramping is a good thing.
wait another week and go in for another ultrasound to see if they can detect the heartbeat. but i wanted to tell you my story to put your mind at ease
ps after 12th week my pregnancy resumed its normalcy and i delivered healthy baby girls

No Cramping is a good thing. I spotted in my 12th week adn they couldnt find a cause. The doc said it could have been a broken blood vessel. There is nothing that can be done to stop a miscarrage. Its just something that has to be waited out. I know how hard and scary that can be. AS long as you are not cramping then your not miscarrying. I am sure your OB will be keeping an eye on you. Just take it easy and rest. I was put on bedrest for a week until we seen what was happening. My daughter is 4 and 1/2 now. So the best thing you can do it try to remain calm and not stressed. Take it easy. Do not over do yourself. Rest as much as possible. Good Luck and let me know hwo it goes. If you need to talk just email me.

I'm on my third pregnancy and started spotting around 10 weeks and continued for maybe 6 weeks off and on - never heavy and never any cramping. I NEVER spotted during my first 2 - not even after exams or when they "scrapped" my cervics in hopes of inducing labor. I'm now about 25 weeks and everything's progressing just fine. I also had an internal ultrasound when it started and they said they couldn't explain it so to just see what happens. I don't think there is really anything you can do except try to take it easy and relax when you can.

When I was 10 weeks pregnant, I started to bleed. It looked like I started my period. I had no cramping. I went to the Doctor's the next day and everything was fine.
I do know someone who had the same problems and she found out that she was having twins. Good Luck!

HI N.! WHEN I WAS PREGNANT THE FIRST TIME I BEGAN SPOTTING DURING MY 8 WEEK. I WENT TO THE OBGYN AND THEY DID AN ULTRASOUND. THEY SAW THE BABY INSIDE THE YOLK SAC AND SAID ALL WAS WELL. UNFORTUNATELY THREE DAYS LATER I MISCARRIED. WHEN I BECAME PREGNANT THE SECOND TIME, I BEGAN SPOTTING DURING THE 8 WEEK AS WELL AND OF COURSE WAS TERRIFIED. I WENT TO THE OBGYN AND THEY DID AN ULTRASOUND. THEY SAW ONLY THE YOLK SAC AND NO BABY. I WAS CRUSHED. THEY TOLD ME THAT BECASUE I WAS SO EARLY INTO THE PREGNANCY THAT IT WAS NORMAL NOT TO SEE A BABY YET. I WAS SO PESISMISTIC AND THOUGHT FOR SURE THERE WAS A PROBLEM. WELL, I WAS WRONG. THE BABY MADE HER APPEARANCE AND DURING MY NEXT ULTRASOUND (WHICH WAS ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER) THERE SHE WAS WITH A STRONG HEARTBEAT. SHE WAS BORN A HELATHY AND CHUBBY LITTLE GIRL. I GUESS ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT I TOO WENT THROUGH THIS AND I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM. I WISH YOU THE BEST AND JUST BECASUE THE BABY ISN'T VISIBLE YET, DOESN'T MEAN THERE IS A PROBLEM. GOD BLESS YOU AND TAKE CARE!!!!! BEST OF LUCK!!!! MAKE SURE YOU LET US KNOW WHAT YOU FIND OUT!!!!
