so day 1 of ovulation the hubby and i have sex. (unprotected) and my period is set to be due one the 25th of this month.

so im 5 days post ovulation and 5 days since the deed was done. and my breasts are a little tender and i have some bloating and very mild cramping.

i know pregnancy symptoms and pms symptoms are so similar that it can be hard to tell which one its from but since its too early to have pregnancy symptoms these cramps boating and sore breasts have to bePMS symptoms from my period which is due in about 9 days right?
and can your body start making these symptoms preparing for a period and then once the fertilized egg attaches and your body realizes its pregnant and then the symptoms turn into pregnancy symptoms?

day of last period-wednesday june 27

day one of ovualtion on the deed-wednesday july 11th

cramps, sore breasts and bloating begins 5 days later

next expected period wednesday july 27

What can I do next?

I woke up this morning and my left breast ached. I have cramping. I'm craving french bread pizza (which I nearly lived on during one of my pregnancies). Does that mean I'm pregnant?

No. It means that I'll have to wait until my period is due, and if it's late, take a test.

My advice to you...get a test and take it.

**Note: Before anyone asks, I'm not pregnant. There's no chance. Hubby had a vasectomy many years ago. LOL

You need to see your doctor. You can talk your body into ANY symptoms. I don't know if you are pregnant or not. You could be. You could NOT be. You've had unprotected sex and the timing MIGHT have been right.

it's like you REALLY REALLY want to be pregnant and are coming up with all the symptoms of what a pregnancy CAN be. You have 11 days until your next cycle. Stop thinking about being pregnant for the next 11 days and go from there.

Call your doctor and ask if they can do a blood test today or this week so you can stop thinking about it and know for sure!

GOOD LUCK!

I'm really worried that you are going to be beside yourself upset if you find out that you aren't pregnant.

The more stressed you are about trying to get pregnant, the harder it is to conceive.

That's why a lot of women find that they are pregnant when they quit trying for a while and just go on vacation. (Or right after they adopt a baby.)

Try to let go some. That way you are giving yourself a break in case you actually aren't pregnant.

Sorry, not even a test can tell you if you are pregnant right now. Like I said in your last post, the more you obscess about this the more magnified your symptoms become. Sounds like that's what's happening. Like Dawn said you're setting youself up for dissapointment if it turns out you're not pregnant. Just relax and take a test when you're late, otherwise, you're stressing for nothing.

Is it still too early to take a test? If so, do something to take your mind off of it for a few days. It's too soon for any of the symptoms to mean anything. No matter the outcome, you probably need to be making an appt with your GYN either for a pregnancy test and/or prenatal care or to obtain a reliable form of birth control. If you have your appt before the first day of your next period and choose the pill as your form of b/c, you can begin the pill during that cycle to be protected 4 weeks later...otherwise you'll have to wait until the following period and an additional 4 weeks.
