Okay, I will admit, I'm terrible at texting. Bad! I was on facebook and was reading these funny texts from parents to kids. Generally, the parent said something and it auto corrected to something else, thus funny as heck.
Last weekend, I was texting my son. He has an internship out of state and we have our "granddog" for the summer. I didn't have my glasses on and texted "Dad has boned Lana. They are BFFs". Now, I obviously didn't mean "boned" but bonded. =) So my son was like "yeah, Mom, you might want to rethink what you wrote." Of course I still didn't have my glasses on and said "why"? Finally, I saw what I had texted and about died! I thought I was going to wet myself from laughing so hard. I showed my husband and he about laughed himself silly as well.
So question, have you ever texted something and it auto corrected to something completely different and funny?
I went to visit my friend and her son in the hospital. I texted her asking if she was still here at the hospital. The text that she received asked her if she was still heterosexual. :-)
That is super funny. My friend always texts xoxox after all her texts to me. She got a new phone and it auto corrected to coconuts.
So she wrote this long text and it ended with coconuts. Thats our new saying now. lol

I texted a note to a girlfriend asking how her daughters public speaking event went. The phone auto corrected so what I actually sent was "how was your daughters pubic fire" she sent me back a row of ?????? lol it was lilarious. we still laugh about it now.

I sat in Barnes and Noble reading a book FULL of these things. I laughed so hard that I was crying. People kept sneaking peeks at me everytime they walked by me. I had to put the book down finally because my head was hurting from all the laughing.

The other day, my girlfriend had asked about the allergy mist I used...I texted - like you without my glasses on - and didn't proof read...and it autocorrected dicks and when I tried to fix it again - after she said WHAT?! It came out as dentists...not as funny as yours...but still we laughed!

Auto correct gets me a lot! And let me assure you, auto correct is NOT always correct!!!!
Just the other day, a friend and I were chatting via text. Sometimes he gets a little ornery with his texts and I just shake my head (he's just a goof). After a few times of a similiar theme, I reply with what I intend to be "I see where your mind keeps going today". Well auto correct changed MIND to KIND. His response was "My kind. What black people? Racist".
I immediately said "Darn auto correct. I meant MIND and you know better".
It's not the first time auto correct got me during this conversation because when I typed "intended" it changed it to extended so I am sure my friend knows I was sincere but still.
Not necessarily funny but definitely a blunder!
