Hello Everyone, In my prior life I was a legal assistant. I have been out of the work place for the last 13 years. All of my children are of school age now, but I am still very involved in their everyday lives. I am looking for a work from home position. Hopefully, something to do with typing. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. Thanking you all in advance for any feedback given.

I currently work for two different companies from home it's not typing but give me a call or email me to see if you are interested in joining the companies I currently work for. The hours are flexible and will allow you to be involved in your childrens lives. Good luck and I hope to hear from you soon.

Way too many scams out there. Plus working for someone else limits your pay and you don't own the darn thing so no assurance you'll have a job tomorrow. Best thing to do is to have your own online business. Get educated.

Best book out there to learn how to have your own online business is "$500 Startup" (available at the book's website). Shows you how to do it with with very little money. Easy read and not technical. Its for anyone not just the technically inclined. Go to the website to get free tutorial videos, audios, blog, worksheets etc... Bonus is that for a limited time the book (digital version) is free. Kick the tires and if you want, they have an advanced course but try the free stuff first!

Hi T.,

I'm an Independent Jewelry Consultant for Cookie Lee and have already made good sales on my first day of sign-up. Cookie Lee has a high fashion line of jewelry at reasonable prices. I am also an Independent Marketing Executive for Melaleuca, a Wellness Company. And no lie, the products are amazing! Last, I'm a Business Owner/Member for My Power Mall. MPM is an online shopping rebate system. For more info, please visit my website at www.mypowermall.com/biz/home/115995. For Cookie Lee, visit www.cookielee.com. And for Melaleuca, visit www.melaleuca.com.

If you're interested in any or all of the above, please don't hesitate to contact me. You could be on your way to becoming a Cookie Lee Consultant, a Marketing Executive for Melaleuca, and/or a Business Owner/Member for My Power Mall. But let me just stress that My Power Mall is 100% FREE! And as for Melaleuca, we are having a special at half price until April 22nd. The price for membership will only be $14.50.

Hi, T.~

I also had a busy job prior to becoming a mom. I really struggled with returning to work and wanted to stay at home with my son, Jake, who's 7 months. I recently found a great work from home company, and it's a wonderful, legitimate company. What most impressed me is that they cater to moms and you can plan your own schedule. Here's a link for more info:

Good luck to you!

Beware of the online work from home "jobs". Most of them are scams. I looked at all of that too. Your best bet is to contact some of your friends who are still working and see if there is any "overflow" or things that just are not getting done in their office that you could do at home. Of course it all has to go through their boss but you might be a less expensive alternative to the company than hiring a freelancer who would take of office space.

I was a graphic designer for television and web and did not have the hardware I needed to work from home in those fields. I also didn't want to go back to 12 hour production days, hiring a nanny to raise my child. I looked for work from home jobs for about a year and finally decided to open my own company, which I launched in January of this year. www.vantagepointcreations.com

It allows me to be mom from 1:30-8:30 and I run the business from 9-1:30 and work some after 8:30 as well.

Best wishes for gainful employment. We women are the most flexible with our talents, but it can also be very frustrating and difficult when the transition time comes.
