I'm new to the area and would love any recommendations on fantastic doctors and hospitals. My deliveries are usually quick so I need something pretty close. The right doctor can really make all the difference when the time comes, so I really want someone great.

I absolutely LOVE my doctor. His name is Ryan Jones. His office is right across the street from the AF Hospital so he is able to get there in a second. He is often not able to accept new patients because he's so great and women stick with him, but give him a call and see. He is worth getting on a waiting list if need be. :o) Hope that helps and good luck!

Welcome to Lehi!! =)

I see the Midwives at Mount Timpanogos Womens Health Care. Its just down the street from American Fork Hospital, right on the border with Pleasant Grove. I LOVE them there. And their NP is AWESOME. I highly reccomend at least giving them a try. I would just recommend that you stay away from Dr. Parker....I have NEVER had a good experience with him.

I LOVE Timpanogos Hospital in Orem off of 8th north. I've had 2 babies there and am planning on having my 3rd there shortly. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. American Fork hospital on the other hand almost killed my mother 2 seperate times!!! So I don't go there...EVER.

I would also recomend our Pediatric DR. She is sooo wonderful and I love her nurses. Dr. Marcie Connor, she works with Utah Valley Pediatrics and they are located right next to A.F. hospital. They also have a really good CNP, his name is Todd and he was such a sweet heart with my youngest when she got 2 degree burns from my hair straightener 3 days after her 1st bday.

I hope this helps and once again Welcome To LEHI!!! =)

I LOVE American Fork Hospital! As for OB/GYN, I go to Terry Melendez, whose office is also right by the hospital. He is wonderful and in an office with 3 other OB's, Dr. Lameroux (who just delivery my second and I love him as well) Dr. Aggard & Dr. Lind. I've heard they only take new patients if they are pregnant, but that's just heard say and could be false. Someone else recommended Dr. Jones, he would be my next choice! But careful, he's kind of attractive :)

I'm with Rebecca! I love the midwives at Mount Timpanogos Womens clininc in AF. They have the backup of the OBGYNs if they need them, but they are extremely competent and very friendly. Plus, they will stay with you while you labor, not just at the end. They are wonderful, definitely check them out!!!

I had my first with Terry Melendez. He was awesome. I have since changed to George C Gourly (insurance issues) and I actually LOVE him! The only thing I think is better than Melendez, Aagard, Lind and Lamoreaux is that you will rotate between doctors, so it doesn't feel as personal. But I think they are great doctors. Melendez was my favorite.
I have heard WONDERFUL things about the midwives mentioned by previous posters. If I could have used midwives I definitely would have.
Good luck in your decision!

I love Legacy OBGYN. They are right by the American Fork hospital (which I also love). The doctor that I use and like is Dr. Smith (sorry I can't remember her first name - maybe Laura). They are pretty popular, so it may be hard to get in, but I think it's worth a try.

I see the midwives at Mt Timpanogos Womens Health Care. They are awesome. There are several midwives and they work under I think it's 3 OB's now. I really like Dr Parker. They are also very close to the American Fork Hospital. I have delivered 3 our of my 4 babies with these midwives at the American Fork Hospital, and have been completely happy with every experience. The midwives are all about doing things your way, and if something goes wrong and they need help, they can call the Dr it's awesome. Their number is ###-###-####
