D., I am a mother of four, and a realtor and became one because we had bad eperiences with realtors. I will tell you that if you had 10 different realtors provide you with a value, you would get 10 different sales values. I believe that knowledge for the seller is their best tool. In essence I wont' come in and tell you yes I can sell it for an inflated value just to get the listing - I will show you with proof in hand what exactly is going on in your area, how long homes are typically taking to sell in your neighborhood and what your more realistic price is. When it comes to negotiating, I am very well versed in getting top dollar - but I don't want you told you can sell for X amount then have to reduce the price and settle for less. I would shop around and have at least three realtors provide you with what they would do for you.

Hi D.! I used Stuart Smith from the Michael Reese Team with Keller Williams (in Frisco). I'm sure they sell houses in Frisco. I went through 2 other real estate agents, used them for 3 months, cancelled the contract and then used Stuart. They sold my house in 1 1/1 weeks. I was so impressed. I had more showings with them in 1 1/2 weeks then I had with the other two agents in 3 months. You should at least interview them. Tell them J. Zaman referred you to them. I think they do referral bonuses. :) I also referred our neighbor to them - they sold their house in 2 weeks and we live in a new development where they're still building houses, so it's even more difficult to sell than normally.
