Seeking Pediatrician in Livonia Area

The best pediatrician are at the Canton University of Michigan Health Center on Canton Center Road ###-###-####. Dr. Mitchell is the best. My daughter has been taking my granddaughters there and now my son is taking his son. She is very straight forward and tells it like it is. If you don't want someone honest and knowledgeable-don't go there. Seriously-great doctors!!!!

We go to Dr. Todd's Pediatric's(Dr. Marcus Todd & Dr. Christine Brenner). We have a 10yr old and a 14month old. Both doctors are great!! They are now located on 5 mile just west of Levan, love the new office!! ###-###-####

Henry Ford Health System - Dr. Pop. Located on Schoolcraft or 96 (jeffries freeway) between Inkster and Middlebelt. Very good pediatrician.

Henry Ford Health Systems on Schoolcraft between Inkster and Middlebelt. There are several pediatricians and they are all wonderful! Every nurse/doctor/employee is very friendly, patient and considerate. ###-###-####. I have been taking my kids there for years. They have a lab and pharmacy in the building. It's very convenient as well.

Child Health Associates in Farmington Hillsis wonderful. Lots of docs and Saturday hours, too. They work out of Beaumont and Huron Valley.

They have seen my kids since the day they were born, and we've never even thought about leaving. Dr. Kolin is who I schedule my annual well-visits with as she was the first doc my kids saw after they were born. She is amazing!

I have an excellent Pediatrican in Plymouth (not a very far drive from Livonia...I also live in Livonia) Child Health Associates in Plymouth. They are right downtown Plymouth. I have 2 girls - 8 yrs old and 6 yrs old. I have been taking them there since birth. My friend recommended them to me, I have now recommended them to 3 other of MY close friends and they all go there now (one is my very best friend)

They are kind, helpful, patient with any concerns. They offer same day sick appointments, you can contact a nurse 24/7, they seem to always be current with latest immunizations. They also just completely remodeled their office to the latest and greatest technology. There is also a lab in the building.

When you have a few names of pediatricians in the area, arrange to have a pre-delivery interview with the physician. Tour the office and ask the questions that you have written down before hand. Such as: when I can in for advise or have a question when will my call be returned? If I need a same day appointment can I get one? or any others that you may have. This is like a job interview and you are the employer!

I don't know where you live in Livonia but my pediatrician is on 8 mile and Farmington (which is right on the FH Livonia border). I go to the University of Michigan pediatric center there ###-###-####. Our "doctor" is Dr. Seyfried and she is wonderful but I have also seen every other doctor in the practice and find them very helpful. They also have Saturday hours. I have called more times than I can count and the nurses are great at getting back to me and are very supportive -- I've called on everything from runny noses to napping. There were a few times I broke down on the phone and they were nothing but nice. The only problem is that I had my babies at Providence and they didn't have rights to see me there so we had to have someone else at the hospital. It wasn't a problem the hospital just assigned someone to see the babies and after we left we went to our dr. No matter what doctor you go with you should check to make sure if they can see you or not at your hospital so you know what to do going into it but I wouldn't make my decision based on that alone.

I take my daughter to Coleen Miele (she works out of Providence Park in Novi - 10 mile & Grand River). My daughter is 3 years old now, she is a really nice doctor, always had a pleasant experience with her...I hope that this helps. I recommend the doctors of Infinity Primary Care at Newburgh & 7 mile. Personally we see Dr. Maura Bradley - she is family practice. I like being able to keep all of the family records in the same facility.

My sister and her family also see Dr. Bradley, and I've seen a few of the other doctors if she's booked.

Dr. Haller, Hugg and Popp are excellent. My whole family uses them and has for 3 generations! They are located on Orchard Lake Rd. between Grand River and 10 mile. The number is ###-###-####. My son sees Dr. Popp, but they are all excellent. The two main things I LOVE is that I can always get my son in the same day if needed, and I can always get ahold of a doctor after hours. As mentioned by a few others, I use Dr. Pop at Henry Ford in Livonia and she and her colleagues are wonderful -- prompt, always available, supportive, knowledgeable, and caring. My daughter was adopted from Russia and has a variety of health challenges initially. Dr. Pop takes time to listen, goes above and beyond in providing supplemental information, and is willing to make referrals to needed specialists. She was not the first pediatrician I used as a couple other locations didn't meet my expectations. In comparison, Dr. Pop and her team are excellent!
