Hi Ladies-
Do you have any suggestions? My family is attending a wedding in October. The wedding is in Minn, so it most likely will be cold. I am looking for a fun outfit. Where do I look? the wedding is at 2pm with a reception to follow. I would love to get something fun, yet kind of sophisticated. I am about 5 feet, 8 inches, size 8. I tend toward younger styles, even though I am in my 30's. Ar you attending a wedding soon- where did you shop for clothing?
Thanks!

What can I do next?

There is a place in Highland Village called Charming Charlie's that has really cute clothes and accessories. They have a lot of trendy clothes and the shop is organized by color, so its very easy to put together a really cute outfit. Plus, most of the items are $30 or less and the quality is still pretty good. There are quite a few other cute boutiques in the same shopping center as well.

I don't have anything like that in my inventory yet, but a good place to look is Craigslist or The Storehouse Resell Shop in Keller. There is also Grace Resell over in Grapevine that offers nice items.

How exciting that you get to buy something for cold weather! I keep flipping through catalogs looking at things we cannot wear here for months (at least not practically). I love the glamour girl look we are seeing so much of. It is very sexy yet sophisticated. I would go with a feminine sheath in a textured fall fabric in a plum, teal or charcoal. (I don't know your coloring.)You can do opaque tights and a mary-jane or a dress boot. If you prefer separates, try a frilly feminine blouse in a print and pair it with a pencil skirt. Then you can wear the blouse with dark denim and heels for date night.
For dresses, I think it is easy to hit the department stores where you can try on lots of options, as opposed to hitting a lot of boutiques. Don't be afraid to cover several departments and take them all to one dressing room. Then you only undress once.
Speaking of MN...If you need a coat, Rue La La (online designer one-day-sale sight) has Via Spiga today. They had lots of coats for around $150 which is roughly half off.
I am a wardrobe consultant and personal shopper, and new to Mamasource. I hope that was helpful.
Happy Shopping!

I am actually attending a wedding in December (here in DFW). Found a couple of dresses each for $25.00 at JCPenney. Both are black...too cute, fun and sexy! I am also 5 8 and in my 30s. Good luck and have fun.
