I desperatley need suggestions on an ob/gyn dr. in excelsior or minnetonka mn area. I tryed oakdale group at west health in plymouth and they just aren't the right fit for me. i need a dr that has time to listen to my concerns and actually help with them and i would like a dr that is willing to do an ultrasound early in pregnancy to check the heart and length of my baby. Please help me, so far the yellow pages have been no help. thank you

Joh Haugen and associates, Dr. Vanatta and the PA's there are good...I always feel like I have time to talk and they do listen. that's at west health in Plymouth and a Southdale office too...west health works great for me we live in Delano now. CONGRATS and consider a doula too they were fine with that!

Hi H.! I'd highly recommend OB-GYN West. They have offices in Wayzata as well as Eden Prairie. They have wonderful doctors, but the one I've been seeing for the past five years is Dr. Sheryl Louie. She's fantastic. I'm not sure whether she's accepting new patients, but I'd certainly see anyone in this clinic. Their telephone # is ###-###-####.

Good luck!

Congrats on the new pregnancy! I don't know if this is too far away from you or where you are planning on giving birth, but I absolutely LOVE my OB/GYN. His name is Dr. Martin Immerman and he works out of Paul Larson Clinic. That's located right next to Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina. He dilivers out of Fairview as well which is a great hospital with great nurses. He helped us get pregnant and was just an all around great Dr. He was the first male Dr. I've had and he made me feel totally comforatable and always took the time to listen to me (even when I showed him my 4 page birth plan- which I didn't end up sticking to:)). I had an early ultrasound due to the fact that I used fertility drugs and they were checking for twins, but I know he's very open to allay any fears with ultrasounds from an eperience that my friend had. Another friend struggled with Cervical Cancer and he also helped her through that. Check out the website for the clinic:
