Does anyone recommend a stylist on the southside that charges under $50 dollars. I want to go some where that has young and fresh cuts.

What can I do next?

If your looking for a great cut at a low price try bartering. Everyone has a skill, or excess that other people want

Hi J.,

I haven't been there myself, but I have a friend who has a got a really cute cut and color. It's Urban Groove salon on W. William Cannon, just W of Mopac in the new Costco center. Let me know if you like it too!

Cheers,

H.

Wet is great on south Congress. The different stylist charge differently. Jen is awesome with color. Ashely gave ma great cut and really good color as well. It is down past the Continental club next to goodie two shoes.

Sylvia at the Beauty Store in Brodie Oaks is my stylist and has been for over 10 years. Her number is ###-###-####. She keep me young looking and I'm 56. I'm not sure about her prices since she also highlights my hair and I only get that done every six months or so.

I'm assuming you mean the south side of Austin! Sometimes I get posts from the San Antonio area as well. Anyway, in South Austin, I would recommend Cobalt Blue on William Cannon at South Mopac. It is a mom-owned business with some great stylists, warm customer service, and a range of prices. I recently switched stylists after ten years and had a young woman do a great job on my curly hair for a reasonable price. Some of the more experienced stylists charge a bit more, but she was very good and the overall atmosphere was very friendly professional. M.

Jezelle Wagner at ____@____.com is great. The salon is at 5184 Hwy. 290 W, kind of between Escarpment and Brodie. Her number is ###-###-####.
I had the same plain hair style for 20 years. One visit with Jezelle and she updated my style without putting me into a panic.
