Same Exact Pregnancy, Mean Same Gender?

I have a 6 year old girl. When I was pregnant with her I had absolutely no symptoms to speak of besides feeling a little sick at night. I am now 10 weeks pregnant with my second child, and so far this pregnancy has been identical, however, I'm having this baby with a different man. Does this mean I'm having a girl again?

What can I do next?

My first two pregnancies were almost identical up to delivery and my third has been different in terms of BfH contractions and movement. My first two were a girl and a boy, so unless this is a puppy, my answer would have to say that similarities in pregnancies mean nothing in terms of gender.

With my second I was positive that I was have a girl because my pregnancy was so different from the first. Nope, I'm the Mom of two wonderful boys. I will say that they are very different in a lot of ways and I guess that started the moment they were conceived.

Congratulations, no matter boy or girl.

No not at all. I had same genders, both girls. My first pregnancy I was sick for most of it. With my second it was a ton easier.

I think it just has to do with how your body handles the hormonal changes.

Both were super easy, 1 boy and 1 girl.

No, of course it doesn't mean you're having another girl. You could be having a girl, or it could be a boy. The symptoms aren't a clue as to the sex of the baby.

I have four kids and none of them were alike but then some were similar. None of it had to do with genders.

Nope.
Could be either a boy or a girl.
It could be you just have an easy time of it when ever you are pregnant.
But even that's no guarantee.
My Aunt had 8 kids - 3 boys, 5 girls (one set of twins).
Some pregnancies were harder than others, some were easy, and never was that any indication of what the gender was going to be.

It doesn't "mean" anything other than that you're pregnant, nor is the fact that this baby has a differnt daddy relevant.

Baby's gender has nothing to do with it. My SIL's first child was a boy. When she got pregnant again, her symptoms and everything were so different she was sure she was having a girl. She was so convinced of it that she even started buying baby girl stuff before she even knew for sure. Turned out it was another boy. So no, there is no way to know unless they can tell from ultrasound or testing on amniotic fluid. Baby having a different father has nothing to do with it either.

Who knows? Anything is possible. I'm having a pregnancy that is very similar to the last. This baby is also by a different father. I am having another girl.

My gyno was right: There is no way to tell.

I had opposite pregnancies for my first two, girl and boy. SO when my third came along with a pregnancy identical to my second, I figured it was another boy. NOPE GIRL. With opposite pregnancy form my other girl.

I suspect it has more to do with your body and how you handle the hormones, etc. than the gender of the baby.
