Any recommendations for where to shop around and look at buying a piano at a good price? I prefer the Plano, Frisco...general area. We're looking for an upright (Baldwin, Yamaha) but don't know where to start, if we can haggle alittle, etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

There is a piano store in the willow bend mall. Willow bend mall is park or parker and the tollway. They have an awesome selection. Good Luck!

I am a piano teacher and had to buy a piano 3 yrs ago. Keyboards Unlimited has both new and used pianos, this is where I bought my new piano. I am very pleased! ok I love my piano!

Also, my piano tuner refurbishes pianos. His name is Bob Burgess, 972/727-2634. If you buy one off Craig's List from an individual, I would be careful and have it checked out, like you would a used car.

Feel free to email me with any other questions.

We bought our piano at Keyboards Unlimited at the NW corner of Spring Creek and 75. Don't be alarmed at the outside. It looks run down or out of business. They really know their stuff. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Try putting an ad in a church bulletin. Or inquire with a school music director. Good luck.

If you are okay with used or slightly used you can find some nice deals on them at Craigslist, usually.

I just sold a ton of stuff that belonged to my mom and dad and was absolutely amazed at the way we sold all the big items . People are looking for bargins due to the economy and people are needing to sell nice items due to the economy. I bet you can find a nice one on Craigslist. Estate sales are also a great way to find itmes such as a piano. I have a friend who bought a piano this way and it was in excellent condition.

HI, I have a great place to get one for free. Thay might need a little tuning and cleaning but they are FREE. Check out craigslist dfw. Every day I see one in their free section. Just type in free piano and I'm sure you'll get lots of hits.
