Hi Moms! I'm seeking a preschool in Bonita or Chula Vista for my son who will be 2 years old in September. My current daycare provider only watches kids until 2 years old so that's why we have to switch. I would like to put him in a school setting. I also need a school that helps potty train. I have looked at Spectrum Preschool in Bonita, but don't know anyone who has gone there and can't find any reviews for the school on the internet. Has anyone heard about Spectrum Preschool? Or are there any other preschools that potty train that you can recommend? I just want to know that he'll be safe. Thanks for your time!

What can I do next?

I understand your need and concerns with schools in our area.
I did research myself and I was comfortable with La Petite Academy. They do have many locations (1 in Chula Vista off east J st and another in Bonita off H st).
They have classes all the way to pre-k. They do except children in diapers and offer assistance with training throughout the day. They offer a trial day. I recommend visiting this school. Very clean and safe!
this is the number for the location on J st ###-###-####

Also I am aware of Kindercare on Telegraph Canyon in Chula Vista. I would recommend them second to La Petite.

I hope you get a chance to review this school and enjoy it. Good luck mom = )

Hi there,
My eldest daughter, who is now 8, went to La Petite Academy (off of H) and now my 4 1/2 goes there. I will also send my 2 year old when she turns 3. I absolutely love the place. They actually have a curriculum and they do help with poty training. The women who work there are all very loving. I watched them all very closeley and they seem to interact like a family. I would highly recommend them. Good Luck, I know its hard to find a place you trust. This is a place that I actually trust with my children.

Hi S., I think most pre schools don't take kids until they are potty trained, unless you do a daycare/school setting. I have never heard of a daycare that only takes kids up to age 2. There is a Elementry school on L st. If you are going west it will be on your right, I think it is Lilian J. Rice. I've never heard of the pre school you mentioned. You can also look for a Daycare in your area that provides a preschol curiculum, thats what I do. J. L.

I have my two boys are Spectrum and absolutely love it. I had my oldest at another preschool down the street and it was terrible, I pulled him after only a month. The teachers and director at Spectrum are so great, they are so friendly and love the children. They are great at communicating with the parents too. I really like how they teach a christian based curriculum. My boys have really excelled there and love it. They are also more affordable than most other preschools in the area. They help with potty training too. I would highly recommend it. If you have any other questions, let me know.
