Pregnacy Test

You really need to add more details to your question and add some punctuation. Punctuation can change the meaning of a sentence. Did the lines disappear after two days? Or did you take another pregnancy test two days later after the doctor took a pregnancy test?

Did the doctor tell you that you're pregnant? How long after did the lines disappear? Two minutes? Two hours? A while after the urine test, the lines can change how they look and aren't reliable any longer. That's why the directions say to read them within a certain time frame.

I've heard the line can fade over time. That's why there's a certain time frame for checking the test. If the line appeared then you are pregnant. If you are still worried over the results go get a blood test done. Good luck.

You can keep your test for as long as you want, but the results are only valid for something like 10ish minutes after the test results have appeared (the instructions do say not to read the test after a certain amount of time). I would say you are more than likely pregnant and just to be safe should plan accordingly (ie. take a prenatal, stop drinking/smoking, stop certain medicines, etc.) and then take another test in a week. And don't feel like you have to buy an expensive test....the dollar store has tests and they work great! I have 3 kids and all my test were from the dollar store! And... congratulations!!

You are not supposed to keep it that long. The instructions say so. After how ever many minutes the test says until you read the results is how long you are supposed to keep it. After that, you throw it away.
