Would you all please give me recommendations for a great pediatrician in the Colleyville/Southlake area. I can't go more north than Southlake but could do Grapevine/Keller areas as well. Thanks!

What can I do next?

First off! Congratulations! I know you are getting anxious, but it will be so exciting! We have a great pediatrician that we have been going to for over 11 years now for both of our kids, and actually my OBGYN recommended him to me, because his kids had gone to him. That made me feel pretty good back then when they were babies. His name is Dr. John Dalton and I believe he is still accepting patients, especially if you tell them you were referred by someone. He is a little more south of where you are but not much, off of Precinct Line and close to Mid-Cities, but is affiliated with Cook Children's. We love everyone on their staff and have NEVER once had a problem with them! He is a little quiet and does take a little bit to get to know, but is the greatest at what he does, at least to us. He will sit there and explain it all to you until you understand everthing. He won't rush in and rush out just to make another appt. Of course if you are the next patient you might not be happy! HA! But at least you know you are getting quality not quantity and you will need him one day for that. They are also great about getting in your child if he/she is really sick. His number is ###-###-####. Good luck with your little one and I hope you do find a doctor you are comfortable with. It makes all the difference in the world.

Dr. Benzick, Dr. Hunt and Dr. Zwernemann at Southlake Family Medicine are great. The only pediatrician in that office I would not see is Dr. Johnson. He has no bedside manner and is extremely rude.

Here's a second recommendation for Dr. Dalton. We've been going to him for over 16 years. He shares his practice with some other great doctors, so if you can't get in to see him, you can see one of his associates. He also has an awesome nurse practioner, Lori Payne.

Congratulations! We've been very happy with Southlake Family Medicine. They are a Baylor office. We use Dr. Erica Zwernemann, but have been helped by other doctors in the practice when she has been unavailable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The nurses are all very knowledgeable and great with my son. The practice is located on Southlake Blvd., close to Town Center. Their website is http://www.southlakefamilymedicine.com/.

My husband and I met with Dr. Zwernemann about a month before having our baby. She was very willing to discuss her philosophy of care and guide us in our nail-biting fears of impending parenthood.

We loved Southlake Family Medical. Dr. Benzick was my kids doctor and they loved him along with all the nurses. Thier number is ###-###-####. Just about any doctor there is great, just do not see Dr. Johnson...he's the bad apple in the group.
