Does anyone helpful have any ideas on what to do for some extra holiday cash? I heard from a friend about delivering newspapers-does anyone know anything about that -pay or what you do exactly? I work full time and want to be with lil one as much as I can but want some extra money so I am up for all suggestions-as long as it does not involve me selling anything (nothing against those jobs-just not for me). I already work 630am-330pm so need something that is not every day of the week and not the whole wknd. Maybe even working in a kennel part time helping with the dogs-etc....
Thanks!!

Newspaper carriers generally work from 2 or 3am to 6 or 7am, depending on your route. That would make for a very long day if you already work full-time! :)

E.,

I would suggest ebay if you have items to sell. I have been doing it for awhile now, and it can really add up. You can make some really good money if you have alot of what people are looking for. I have been addicted to buying and selling on ebay for awhile now. It is really fun and you do it in your own free time. Good Luck!!

I know you don't want to sell anything, but you can host in-home wine tastings where all you do is educate about the wine everyone is drinking. The wineries provide you with tasting notes, so you don't even have to be a wine expert! You could do one a week at a time that is convenient for you and make some extra money. Let me know if you would like more info, or if you would like to schedule a tasting to see what it is all about first!

Good luck to you!

I used to work for a guy who worked for Dallas morning news. I think he posted an ad in the paper for part time help. He was employed by DMN and we just helped him and he paid us under the table. It worked for all of us. We went in 3 days a week from 3am till about 5:30am and made $100 a week for each of us (there was 3 of us). There are diffent hours for different shifts.

My mom used to deliver phone books for extra holiday cash. We got to go with her and help leave them on doorsteps : ) We thought it was fun. I guess it worked for her cause she did it just about every year (till we were older and cought on that she needed extra money so we quite asking for expensive things).

Good luck! Ohh, my mom also had a side job at one time working for the chuck-e-cheese corporate office, taking reservations and answering questions. I think they take sesonal empolyees. They are located in Irving if your interested. Good luck with whatever you decide!
