No Garage or Outdoor Storage

I would go on craigslist.com and see if there is one of those Rubbermaid storage sheds or similar item.

If you are allowed due to covenants get a small shed, easy to assemble rubbermaid or suncast shed or leanto or outdoor chest that can lock. Any tool that require gas such as lawn mower,leaf blower, tiller, chainsaw should never be stored in living spaces. If it is simple small yard tools and you have a laundry room get a pantry style cabinet and install hooks. I however would check out small, plastic.sheds at menards, home depot, sams, costco and amazon.

We rented a small house for three years and when we rented it, they said they were putting a shed in. Two years went by with no shed. So we just had to keep the big things in the back yard. Lawnmower, bikes, shovels, rakes, etc. The smaller tools we kept inside. The toold box we kept over the washer/dryer. Other things we put in tubs and stored in "hidden" places where we could find them.

we do not have a garage, but we do have a small little patio yard thing. We keep our tools in the laundry room and we have just enough room in our patio yard for our bikes and stuff.

Are you living on base? If so - get a storage shed. The PX sells them - in the garden shop.

For things like shovels, rakes, etc. I would buy the storage unit that I can attach to the outside wall...they even have hooks like this...

all depends upon how much outside room you have. When we were stationed in Hawaii - we had a carport and a large backyard. My dad made 'sheds' to put our stuff in. even the trash cans.

We have a coffee table ...um er uh"tool trunk". Its just like a trunk you would put quilts in but much smaller. We received it after my grandfatherinlaw passed. It has a lot of the tools he used. There is even a top tray for smaller tools (saws, screwdrivers, hand shovels.

Now for the bigger stuff like wrakes and long shovels i would buy a long plastic tubbaware (if they make em long enough ) and store them under the bed. or couch ... or spare closet somewhere...perhaps water heater closet? ac closet??

You can purchase a shed. Or build one. That's what I would do.

If it's not feasible to buy a shed, go to the thrift store & look for a palstic
big plastic tool box. The large ones. They even have ones w/locks.

You can also find these at Walmart type stores for fairly inexpensive amounts.

Worst case scenario, lean all of your tools/yard equipment against the back of the house & surround it w/a fence type material.

Look on Craigslist for a cheap tool box or mini shed to store your tools.

Buy a storage building.

we used my stepdads enclosed trailer for large lawn/garden equipment. For garden tools (rake, shovels, etc.) we used the side of the house (under trees) to store.

In the house, we had many Rubbermaid plastic shelves to store other items that could not be stored outside (chemicals, pruners, etc.)

The outdoor rubbermaid storage bins are kind of small, but they might work for you!

Build a shed. We have a bike shed and a larger one. The bike shed could hold small items and is transportable. We chain a ladder to the fence.

Can you build one? If not, hire a yard man (America).
