Mom in Metairie, I Need to Start Looking for Summer Camps(yrs10&9)

There is a day camp at Riverside Church in River Ridge. I am not sure how far that might be for you, depending on where in Metairie you are. The camp is fun, they go on field trips, and they work on a musical to perform at the end of the summer. They had a blast last summer.
