I recommend Long Beach Ballet for the area closest to your area. You can take the 405 south and it should take you around 10-15 minutes. There are of course other studios, but if your daughter just wants to do ballet they are the best in the Long Beach area. If you're interested, please let me know and we'll talk further.

Hi Darlene,
It may be difficult to find a uke teacher, so maybe you can start him on the guitar. If he already reads music and knows the basic chords, he can easily transition to playing a ukelele. There are tons of great resources online. Here's one: http://liveukulele.com/lessons/for-beginners/

Hi Darlene. I used to live in Carson and we used to get the city's booklet that has a list of classes and events. I know they offered uke lessons for seniors but you may want to check with them and see if they also offer it to kids. Call city hall.

Another thing I would suggest is to check out Back Home in Lahaina (Carson & Grace) on Friday/Saturday nights. They have live performances there with ukes and hula dancers so you may want to ask them about it.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
