I live in the Seaworld area. We would like to find a church in the area. Not too big and has a good youth program. Any recommendations?

What can I do next?

Hi C.,
How old are your kids? St. Andrew's Episcopal on 410 across from Ingram Park Mall is my church and I love it. The youth program for junior high and high school is awesome, and we are working on improving our programs for little ones (of which I have two). We just got a new rector at the beginning of the year and he is really great. Let me know if you would like more info...

Hi C.,
I live on NW side off Tezel. I have found a smaller Non- denominational Christian Church that I really like and feel at home at. It is Nortwest Community Church off Guilbeau and Tezel. They have a great pastor, and a great youth pastor and program. They also have the Awana program on Wed. nights for younger kids. I definitely recommend trying it out for a couple of Sundays, it's worth the visit.

There is a church called Freedom. It is on Bandera/Grissom. It is a moderate size church with a small church atmosphere. Hope you try it. I am a member. I love it and so do my boys. The address is 6416 Grissom Rd.

BRCC-Bandera Road Community Church has an excellent youth group program and classroom lessons for infants to 5th graders.
They also have Kidstuff, a half hour program after church where parents and children go together to learn how to learn more about God as a family. They put on a 20 minute theatrical skit to teach about virtues.

If music fills your heart and singing is a way for you to speak to the Lord, BRCC is a perfect church. It is located on the corner of Bandera Rd and Braun Rd.

From Sea World, you can take 1604 to Braun Rd, turn right 1.9 miles, church is on your right hand side before you reach Texaco gas station. Or 1604 to Bandera Rd, turn right to Braun Rd. You will see Texaco gas station and BRCC sign on right.

I attend BRCC (Bandera Road Community Church) They are located on the corner of Bandera Rd. and Braun. Rd. They have a good youth program and an excellent kids program. My oldest teen and a bunch of her friends used to attend Fuel (youth) every Monday night. Some of the things I know they did for fun is invite a friend to movie night and mecahnical bull riding! The kids program, Cross Street, has a subdivision called K-Motion and they put on a weekly 30 min. adventure called Kids Stuf. They dance to worship, have a short play show a clip, and a bunch of other stuff. As an adult, Kids Stuff is one of my favorite things to attend because it is so funny, I always leave smiling. As for the adult service, the worship is modern and absolutely great. There are 3 different pastors whom all have a different teaching style: none of them yell, of which I have experienced in other churches around here. Well, you can find them on the net at BRCC.net. Service times on Sun is 10:00, 11:30 and 1:00. Sat night is 5:00.
