Does anyone know of a vacation home we can rent in Galveston that is ON the beach. Or know who we can contact?

Yes call Paul ###-###-####. My husband and I stayed here last July 4th Weekend since we could not afford anything else. We had a good time and the patio faces the beach. Now it's no 5-4 star hotel but, it has a little kitchen which really helped with our budget so we saved a little bit on eating out all the time.
Tell Paul, A. Felini sent you.

I do not know of a place but Galveston is my fave and would love to find a place I could afford to take my kids/teens again. We have such wonderful memories! Have a great time!

We just got back from Galveston on Monday, but the house we stayed in was across the street from the beach. If you decide that you can live without a house on the beach, try www.shadypalmgalveston.com. If you have to stay on the beach, I saw a lot of houses that are rented by www.sandnsea.com.

I've rented homes from Bayreef realty. The homes we rented right on the beach were really run down and shabby as well as much too expensive. The only way I could see affording those is if you're willing to vacation with additional people and share the rent and fees. If you are willing to look at the canal houses across the road from the beach, you get a lot more for your money. They are nice people to deal with though.
