Hello wonderful moms!

We are leaving in 2 weeks to go to Disney World. I need to find a great Side By Side Stroller that is light weight to take with us. I have been looking at either the Peg Perego or Maclaren. Does anyone else have any other ones that you just love? Do you know where I can by one at a great price either new or used.

Thank you for your help...

What can I do next?

I have a Combi side by side stroller. I absloutely love it! We actually took it to Disney World this May, and it was the best stroller ever! It is very light wight, has cup holders, and easy to fold and unfold. It was very easy to use on the monorail and or the ferry to get to Magic Kingdom. It has a small width, so it can go thru any average size door and aisle. I take it with me everywhere. The only downfall is has limited storage space. We found that the best thing to take to Disney World is a backpack. We have one that has a place for cold storage, so we were able to take sandwiches and water with all other diaper bag supplies. I got the stroller in excellent condition on Craigslist for $100.

We recently bought a used Combi side by side and I LOVE it! I have always had the bigger tandem ones, and I am converted to the side by side. You could certainly check craigslist for a used one, which is what I would do unless you know you will be having another baby to use it with your 2 year old. (I dont imagine the 4 year old needs a stroller much these days except for longer trips:) I know the Maclaren is a taller stroller, so if you are quite tall, or your hubby is, that might help. I am 5ft 8, and my DH is 6 ft, and neither one of us has a problem with our combi. Good luck, and have a super fun trip!! ~A.~

I have a combi which I love, but it might be to big to take with you. Have you looked at the jeep side by side I think they are pretty cheap and will probably work. You could also search the baby gear renting sight. They meet you at the airport with whatever gear you order I think I remember seeing strollers.

You may want to try the Kid to Kid store in Rockwall. It is a consignment shope if you are looking for used. However, you may just want to call first to see if they have something based on your description. I found a stroller that was not carried in stores by going to the manufactures website then doing a search for retailers that carry the one I liked. I wasn't finding what I was looking for at Babies R Us and this was a good way to get more of a selection.

Hi M.
I have a great Jeep side by side umbrella stroller. It is great, except for the shade, not huge. It is quite narrow so it handles easily. it is light but sturdy.

We have a side by side maclaren for our twins. Love it. I think, however, that you may want to consider renting a stroller at the park as someone else suggested. Less to pack.

I have a few friends that have the side-by-side Bob Revolution Stroller and love it. It is meant to be an exercise stroller, but it is really a great EVERYDAY stroller. I have the single Bob Revolution and love it. You can try to find one on Craigslist.

I rented a stroller last year when I went to Disney World. We stayed at a Disney motel and used the bus system. It was great not to have to carry the stroller on the bus. You can pay for all the days the first day so you just have to show your ticket and get your stroller if you leave and come back or go to a different park you just show the ticket. My boys were 5 and 7 and we were glad we rented the stroller. It was a bit expensive but worth every penny.

Hi M.,
I have a double side by side Chicco Stroller that I got at Lone Star Kids off of 75 and Abrams. It's an umbrella that folds pretty small for a double and alot cheaper than the others. It also has baskets on the bottom. I looked into alot of different ones and decided on this one. I have a very tall 4 year old and had some issues with the back being too short but not a problem with the Chicco.I even talked to someone that was selling theirs on Craig s one time asking about their trip to Disney and they said it did a great job and fitted great in the lines. I'm planning a trip in the early spring.
Hope this helps,
C.
