What was the funniest thing your kids said this week, so far?

My 2 year old for the first time (that I heard) in the mall today told my 3 year old " so whateveeer" like a teenager, I had to do a double take...

My 3 year old came into my room when she was supposed to be asleep and told me that she needed to buy some letters from the post lady so she could send to the tooth fairy, so she can come get her teeth... My first response was "baby, we don't buy letters" my second response was "who do you know uses the phrase post-lady?"

Kids are so crazy. She also tells me all the time, that she is going to china, and everything we have is from china... Then when j think of it... She might be right..

I also told her to take off her swimming suit in the house, she said, while pointing at her head, "I'm using my imagination to pretend that I am swimming, so I need it" so I asked her so where is she swimming at, she said "mama. You go swimming in water" and she said it as if I was Soooo stupid...lol

My 3yo said some of the craziest stuff, my 2yo, shes still learning.

What can I do next?

My cousin came over the other afternoon to visit, and we were all playing outside. My 2 year old, who doesn't speak very clearly yet, went up to her and said "You sexy. Do you want to see my sexy? "- as he lifted his shirt and pointed to his chest. (He was attempting to say sweaty.)

Just a couple of weeks ago my sister and I were talking about a rainbow we saw outside after it rained. Just being silly, we started talking about it being a double rainbow and were making fun of the YouTube video about it. All of a sudden, my 4 year old runs in from the other room and yells out as loud as he can, "WHAT DOES IT MEEEEAAAANNN?" and then runs back out. Mind you, he hadn't heard this video in almost a year. My sister and I died laughing! Here's the link if you haven't seen it the video. It's hilarious!

My son also has a knack for repeating voicemails. He left a message for me on my phone one time and repeated my voicemail word for word! He's also done that with my sister and dad's voicemails. It's so funny!

Just last night my son was irritated that I made him go to bed. "Ugh, Mom, you just made me lost my patience!"

Again, not this week, but one of my all-time favorites was when my son was about 6 years old & we were having spaghetti for dinner. I had left the Texas Toast in the oven too long so the bottoms got over-done (read: burned) which I do not care for at all. When we sat down to eat I was all disgusted when I was making everyone's plate & my son says, "I know what you are, Mama! You're black toast intolerant, you know, like on the commercial?" We all just busted up laughing because I was very impressed that he knew the word intolerant, but thought they were saying Black Toast instead of Lactose!!

One of our friends drove up to our boat club in a Ford GT. For those of you who aren't car saavy, it's a $200,000 car... and beautiful. He took my fiance for a spin... Rob literally got out of the car shaking with the biggest smile on his face... that car goes FAST, and stops on a dime. My 7 year old daughter goes up to our friend and says 'Whoa! Nice car! That's the kind of car mommy needs to ride in when she wears her sexy heels, you should take her on a date'... (says this RIGHT in front of my fiance!)... I doubled over laughing like WHAT?!... I DID go for a ride, and you know what? The kid's right, I'd LOVE to roll up to a restaurant or club in my 5 inch heels in that thing!!

My 3 year old has started repeating what we say to him when we want to get his attention or get a point across... this week we've heard:

"Mommy, you need to listen to my words."

"Daddy, keep your hands to your own body" (he was about to fall down the stairs and my husband grabbed his arm)

"Aslan (the cat), be nice to your friends"

"Mommy, you can see this in 5 minutes."

"Mommy, look at me so that I know you are listening."

We are really annoying!

Well it wasn't this week but I think I will always remember this! I once was driving in the car with my twin girls and they were oh probably about 3 or 4 years old at the time. I was asking them a bunch of questions such as days of the week, ABC's, etc. I asked "Well where do eggs come from?" One of my twins blurted out so excitied "Oh mommy I know this-THE EASTER BUNNY!!!!!!! I couldn't help it I just laughed and the other twin laughed to and said no no eggs come from a chicken silly!
My husband works for the meat department in a grocery store chain called Publix. Every once in awhile they have some kinds come in for a "tour" aka "Field Trip" when he shows them the chicken he ask them "Where do chicken nuggets come from? It always the same response in unison "MC DONALDS" He always gets a kick out of that one and then tells them chicken nuggets come from chickens and will show them the chicken!

For all you star trek fans out there:

My 8yo and I were hospital bound for over 3 weeks this past month. The nurses and I got on well (LOVE that hospital) but at one point my son apparently felt my questions were putting too much on them and 'came to their defense'.

"Mom! They're not miracle workers!"

My 30 year old had a snake in his yard. My DIL sent me a picture of this long, black snake and told me Sam caught it and relocated it to the field by their house.
I asked my son how he caught it and he said "By the neck Mom, how else is there?". I thought that was cute, snakes are pretty much ALL neck right? My almost 3 yr old granddaughter told my son "Be careful Daddy the snake is my friend."

*My 3 year old daughter calls asparagus "spagarious" which sounds like some kind of disease.
*My 5 year old son is quite the master of the pun. A couple weeks ago, we were in the backyard and we had some tiki torches lit. My son exclaimed about how there were still some bugs flying around. I said "Well, the torches aren't 100% guaranteed." And he said "You mean they aren't 100% guaranTIKI'd!"

My 4 yr old daughter, matter of factly, said "me and daddy are going to move away and live somewhere else." I asked her - wont you miss your mamma? She said, it's ok, I'll make daddy text you. I was giggling but at the same time looking at hubby with a rasied eyebrow......is there something I don't know?

The other evening I was scolding my 7yo son for misbehaving in school. I told him, "You better be an angel the next day". He looked me dead in the eye and said, “How am I supposed to do that when I don’t even have wings”. He was so serious and frustrated; it was hard not to laugh.

Our last name is Christensen. The little girl that I babysit (she's 4) was irritated at my 3 year old yesterday and said, "Aubrey Anne Christmas!" I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants!
