Inexpensive Pet Vaccinations

We moved back to the valley a little over a year ago and our cats are due for their shots. We used to take them to a clinic in Tucson where you pay $10 a shot and no visit fee (so like $30 a cat). Is there anything like that in the Phoenix or East Valley area? Also, are there any good recommendations for vets that specialize/have an affinity for cats in the East Valley? We see a pretty decent vet in the Ahwatukee area, but the prices are really outrageous compared to what we paid in Tucson. Thank you so much for your help!

We vaccinatee our dogs at the Spay and Nueter Clinic. www.spayaz.com There are several around the valley. It is very affordable- at least compared to the vets office. Appointments go quickly so you have to wait a little but it's worth it. The staff is always awesome.

You can also get vaccines through the county. Check online for details- I don't know much about it. Good luck!

Petco stores have vaccination clinics once or twice per month. You just pay for the shots with no visit fee. You can find the store near you and their clinic schedule at their website: http://www.petco.com/petco_Page_PC_veterinaryservices_Nav...

You can actually get pet vaccines from some pharmacies and give them yourself. The box comes with instructions how to give them. I have gotten them from Walgreen's in the past and think it cost less than $10. You do have to go to a vet for the Rabies vaccine.

I would recommend Anderson Animal Clinic on the northeast corner of Baseline and the 101 in Tempe. Their costs are extremely reasonable!
