have you considered childcare? I don't know the rules for where you are but It is farely easy to start up here. You could also look into medical transcription. My sister found a company that paid to train here over 2 weeks but she had to go out of state. they sent her to a training and then gave her a computer and paid her internet bill and sent her the work online. If you can type fast you can make really good money doing this.

WOW, I have had a lot of people respond to me too about at home businesses, I actually do have the option to have my own business with the company that i purchase organic products with but I do not have the money to really get into the whole advertising thing right now and I too want to be able to just work data entry or something like that.

I was looking at your request and wanted to tell you about a great business called spagirl parties. Its a new company kind of like pampered chef, only with bath and spa stuff! You make 25% of all the retail sales and you work as much or as little as you want to. Because its fairly new company and there are only 4 consultants in WA there is ample opportunity to make money (and you get 5% commission on all retail sales for any one you sign and and then any one that they sign up! Another thing I used to do online that works out great for stay home mommies is Online Tutoring. Check into Brainfuse.com and Tutor.com. They are really great - you can set your own hours, choose the subjects you want to teach, and so on. Look into it. Good luck.

The start up fee is very low and it's an amazing company that's very supportive of mothers. I myself am a single- stay at home mom so I can relate to your issue. I tried several home employment opportunities and every one of them was a scam. My experience is that if they tell you it won't cost anything to start it could be a scam. I would love to find the answer to WORK at home also. It seems everywhere the question is asked the answers are home BUSINESSES. I see a lot of candles, Arbonne, Mary Kay, the many different Melaleuca teams; all of which are "home businesses."

I am a member of Melaleuca and worked hard for 3 years and went $15,000 in debt from buying leads etc. I love the products but the effort and money is not worth it unless you have a knack for selling. Even if you have a biz where you aren't directly selling the 'products' to the end consumer you are still selling the biz. It is hard work and people drop faster than you can replace them unless you work at it 50+ hours a week. I am sure that is not what you are looking for.

I too have heard of those lucky few that get actual real "jobs" from home. I would love to find one. Let me know if you find a legit listing of them.

There is not a lot out there that you can do from home that is not a home business set up. There is a lot of garbage that will tell you they will and then they just don't work. I think I when though just about everything out there before I found something that fit me but it was a business set up.

You can go back to school and learn billing and do that from home but you will have to get your own accounts.

Without going back to school or working in the "home business" arena there is not a lot of legitimate business out there. You have to ask yourself what is more important staying home and looking into something different or going back to work.

I teach people to be wellness coaches. If you think you might like this then give me a call and I will tell you the details. Whatever you choose make sure that the company is stable, has a long creditable history and is something that you would have fun doing.
