My playgroup wants to plan a mom's night out once a month. Dad's will watch kids. I'm planning the first outing. I need ideas. We all are such homebodies, we can't think of anything.

What can I do next?

Hi-
I belong to a Mom's club & we have a Mom's night out once a month & we have gone to a pottery place & made a piece of pottery & then followed up with coffee & conversation at Jittery Joes. We have also gone to dinner/movies/scrapbooking.... We do have a great time mainly enjoying adult conversation without interuption. I hope this gives you some ideas.

My playgroup painted pottery one night. It was so much fun! We brought drinks and a snack and painted a plate for our children's first birthday.

The best thing to do is just plan to go somewhere for dinner. Meet at a Mexican restaurant, steak place, Sushi, etc. Anything works as long as the mom's get a break and can eat without cutting up someone else's food :)

If ya'll like chatting it up while sipping some new wines, then maybe a wine tasting at the Oak Barrel in downtown Acworth might be a nice night out.
