How Can a Baby Be in Your Pelvis but in Your Ribs at the Same Time?

I can tell you that yes it is very possible.

My son's head was down but his face was up...so his head was in my pelvic area, his back was pushing on my back (causing back pain and later back labor), his but was near my ribs with his knees pushing between/on my ribs, and his feet were kicking my side.

I was much smaller when I was pregnant with my son and he was bigger than my daughter so I felt every single move he made towards the end.

With my daughter I felt the movement, especially towards the end, but she was positioned differently so I didn't feel the discomfort so much.

Because full-term babies are just that big and take up that much space!

Yes. it's the feet and your other organs that are being squished upwards. There's not much room in there.

Yep, I had weeks of this with our oldest. He was 9 days overdue. Agony at the end. He would get stuck in my ribs and get REALLY angry about it.

Good news is that you're at the end of the line. I promise you'll be feeling better soon!

After your baby is born, hold her up against your tummy and then you will understand! Or just hold a measuring tape up and go with however long she is. Either way... You will understand. Lol

Yes, her feet are in your ribs. My entire 3rd trimester my son felt like he had a toe... or a foot... or a leg... stuck between my ribs. Lol

Babies are not tiny, in your tummy.
Both my kids, in utero, were 21" long. And over 8 pounds each.
And, I felt it.
They were up in my ribs too.
Then they are ready to come out.
I could not believe, that my kids were all scrunched up inside me... being the size they were.

Because they are big and take up all space!

You poor thing! Yep, the baby is all squished in there and doesn't have many places she can move. Are they going to induce you? If you are that uncomfortable they should be able to and soon!

By this time, the baby is pretty big. She's doing a headstand basically, with her head in your pelvic area and her feet kicking(?) your lower ribs.

My oldest son was in presentation position the whole time!! Head on my bladder and feet on my ribs!! LOVED bouncing around!!!
