Help Mamas!!! I am sooo tired of shaving, waxing is painful. I have tried sugaring, but it seems like it doesn't last long. What is my best bet for a less painful wax, longer lasting sugaring, or laser hair removal?

Thanks in advance:)

What can I do next?

Your best bet is laser hair removal, but is expensive. I bought some packages very cheap a few months ago (6 treatments @ $99). I bought them thru www.groupon.com. I recommend to keep watching these offers until you see another med spa posting a special.

Also, you can check on www.seizethedeal.com

I have just recently started Laser Hair Removal on my underarms, legs and bikini area. After just one treatment (you'll need around 6), I could tell a major difference! Not only is my hair being reduced, but what's left for now is finer and when I do shave, I don't have the razor burn problem I have always had. I have only had 2 treatments under my arms and bikini area and 1 on the rest of my legs and I'm so pleased with the results so far....I would definitely go with laser hair removal and would recommend Michelle at Tiena Health Las Colinas (http://www.tienahealth.com/) and right now, she's offering buy one area, get a second free, which is a HUGE deal. I think you have to book this month, though so don't wait too long to decide! Hope this helps and good luck!

Sign up for Groupons (groupon.com) and keep an eye out for laser hair removal. I've bought two groupons for laser hair removal - $99 and $150. They include 6 trips for hair removal in one location (lip/chin/bikini, etc). I've only had one trip so far, but it wasn't painful and didn't leave a huge red area like waxing usually does.

I actually have a laser practice. I have basically removed almost all my personal hair (legs, arms, underarms, bikini, lip). I have dark brown/black hair and had the rasor stubble on my legs in 8 hours after shaving.
4 years ago we started this laser practice and I have not shaved since! It is amazing. It works. Nothing is forever or permanent. I do touch it up every year, but it's minimal effort compared to shaving everyday!!
Nothing gives long term results if it doesn't impact the follicle. That's the way it is. Our hormones keep that hair growing or falling out.....
Laser is the way to go as long as you have dark hair.
Good Luck

I would HIGHLY recommend Lynne Raines with Great Skin by Lynne! SHe did my bikini line ---electrolysis - -- not inexpensive but totally worth it! IT takes about 18 months to be done but the hair will NOT grow back! I had it done 3 years ago -- nice to not have to shave there anymore! Her website is:
http://www.electrolysisbylynne.com/ and she was voted best in Dallas in D magazine!! Tell her E. said hi! Good luck!

I am of a Mediterranean descent and have thick, dark fast growing hair. I had tried many methods in past and about 6 years ago started laser hair removal. It was the most effective by far. 6 years later I have had very little regrowth. I have had a couple of maintenance sessions since and that is it. I am very happy with the results.
