I am a 49 year old disabled person. Recently i saw an add on tv for this awson auger. It's a garden tool. I thought wow i coould use this thing from my wheel chair and do my gardening. I love to be outside it really heals me. It's getting harder and harder for me to do.
So i called the number of course i got a computer , and it messed the order up. At the end it ask me if it was correct, i said no, then it ask me if i wanted to order, i said no. I was worried when i got off the phone, so i called my bank right away and stopped payment on the check. My bank assure me it would not go through, well they let it go through.108.60. I live on social sucurity, and it's based on what you paid in, well i was in the convent for 13 year's, so i lost 13 years, because they paid in as a group.i have a diease like als, when i got wrose the convent made me live. The bank feels it isn't there fault, so they won't help me. The company i ordered from won't sent me the stuff. I just want my money back. Do any of you know how i can get in touch with their costumer service.

What can I do next?

Believe me when i say its the banks fault, if you put a stop payment on it they should have stopped it. I would call and talk to the manager.

I used to work for a bank and when a stoppayment is put on a check it should be stopped. The customer is always right. I was working in a bank and working in the dept of stopping the checks with stoppayments put on them, well one got by me and it was for alot of money, thousands, my boss at the time said that i was a good worker, she said in a case like this we would normally fire someone but they liked how i worked they just put me back on my old job.

What bank did u go thru?

Send me a personal message and i will see what i can do.

If I have problems with customer service I send letters to all involved to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General.

So if I were you I'd send a letter to the BBB and the Attorney General of both Missouri and the state in which the business is based. Send copies of the letters to both the bank and the company that sold the item you wanted.

You'll probably get a big apology and your money back along with any check fees that may have happened along the way.

Good Luck!

When I have exhausted all measures talking to managers and such I usually go to the Better Business Bureau. That has always gotten results for me. I would contact the BBB on both companies, your bank and the company you bought the product from. To me it sounds like they are both at fault. Good Luck!

you could try reporting it to the better business bureau. they will contact the company, but it doesn't guarantee a response. sometimes the company will respond though.

also, i'd try your bank again. if you stopped payment, they should have honored that. talk to the manager maybe.
