Hi moms,
Anyone been to a birthday party at asi or gymstar?

My daughter is turning four and wants a Barbie party, but we have family that are boys, not to mention her 18mo brother so I was thinking gymnastics might be a good option due to unisex and wide age range.

Any advice is appreciated!

What can I do next?

I have not been to ASI or gymstar, but my son turned 4 last year and we had a gymnastics party in Denton. We had both boys and girls and a really wide age range. All of the kids loved it and had a really great time.

Late answer to an old thread, but had to share my experience today. Do NOT go to ASI Gymnastics in Allen for a birthday party if your children are under 5. The activities planned were boring for 3/4 year olds. Any attempts to have 'free-play' outside of the structured part were met with employees yelling at the KIDS ... not the parents who were standing right next to them .. yelling at the kids...

4 other sets of parents were livid after the party today. We couldn't even try to play with our children in the main area as 'parents were not allowed'. After repeated run-ins with multiple parents, we asked to speak to a manager and conveniently, there wasn't one on duty. We were told 'we don't make up the rules' so many times it was just unreal. My 3 year old daughter was in tears multiple times as were several other children (some as old as 5 and 6)...

At Metroplex Gym or even Eagles Wings, the kids actually get to have some fun and explore along with their parents (so the shy kids aren't left out). I would highly recommend any place other than ASI in Allen. I will never be back for any reason ..

One of my daughter's friends celebrated his 4th birthday at the ASI gym in Allen. It was great! Lots of fun was had by all! You could still tie in the Barbie theme in the cake/cupcakes, decorations, etc. Have fun!

We had my son's 5th bithday party at ASI and the kids had a great time. They did a really good job. We had kids from around 2 yrs to 6 yrs in attendance.

Our best party ever ``was at a gymnastics place for kids and their siblings ages 2-10. We paid extra so the kids could do the rockwall and the zipline.
They also included bouncehouses.

My daughter just went to a party at ASI, and loved it. She said she wants her next birthday party to be there. Both boys and girls attended this party.
