AN ADDITIONAL THANK YOU! Moms: thanks to MORE of you who wrote! Much appreciated!

Dear Moms: Do you have any recommendations for a good wrinkle cream? I hear that the Olay of Olay Rejuvinating line is good, plus Garnier now has some creams and Aveena wrinkle rejuvination or some such name. But with everything out there, I wonder which is better than most? Any recommendations?

So What Happened?

Wow, thank you ALL for the advice and suggestions! I am so happy to receive them all! You are all very generous, wonderful women. I am going to try the Arbonne RE9 first, as I have a sample from Kelly already. And will try the other suggestions also. Thank you again!

I love Cellular Labs products. They're not the cheapest on the shelf, but they work fantatically and they last a long time. You can find it at www.MarketAmericaUS.com

I HIGHLY reccomend the RE9 Line of products by Arbonne. It is an independent line that you must by from a consultant (I do not sell the products but do buy them and love them!). I am not sure where you are located but I could connect you with a rep who would let you try them out for free for a week or so before you bought anything. The whole line is amazing but their eye cream reduces wrinkles almost right away. If you wanted to find a consultant near you you could go to the arbonne website and I think there is a spot to locate a consultant in your area.

Hi G.
I use Reversage (perfect name). Created by a scientist nurishing our bodies from the inside out. Our skin being the biggest organ-we need to start where the problems start.
I was blessed with good genes (granny at 98 had awesome skin!) but lifestyle and what we put into our bodies (and that MOMMY STRESS) all contribute.
The reversage skincare is very simple. Not a ton of products (4) so you don't get coaxed into adding this one and that one. My skin feels so smooth when I wash and the moisturizer lasts for the whole day.

As an older woman I must commend you on creaming your face now.
Actually all you ladies in your twenties need to start creaming your face now.
If you wait for wrinkles, guess what? You have wrinkles lol.
Some of how many wrinkles you have is genetic. My Mum was (Black) Irish so she did not have many wrinkles or any gray hair at all. And at 65, neither do I.
But I do cream and I find that Oil of Olay products are probably the very best I could do and perhaps you too.
Wrinkles ARE a part of aging which will happen wether you want it to or not, wether you can afford plastic surgery or not( and look grotesque in fifteen or twenty years)
My best advice to you is to do it graciously. There are not many women as beautiful as a woman over fifty who has stayed away from surgeons despite puppet lines...and accepted their aging. Keep yourself as neat and clean as you possibly can...SMILE A LOT..and no one will doubt your beauty.
When you put the cream on at night...think of three good things about your day...and three bad...before long, you may not be able to think of the bad.
A positive outlook on yourself and life will bring out your inner beauty and prettiness is seldom defined by a woman's exterior appearance.
Best wishes and God bless

Go with Clarins.... have them do a facial (macy's) it's free and let them tell you what you need. Start with the basic supply (it's expensive but lasts a long time) and then add what you need later..my skin felt 15 years younger in 2 months!! plus it is a GREAT way to pamper yourself

Arbonne's Re9 system is awesome for wrinkles and is botanically based so it is safe for your skin and the products are cutting edge and work really well! I use it and don't look 46 any longer.

My mom sells Avon and uses their Anew Clinical Advanced Wrinkle Corrector. It costs $25 but my mother has seen a major difference. It promotes colligen and she has sensitive skin, and it doesn't make her break out and its a lot cheaper than the arbonne. You can order from her website www.youravon.com/dyanalittle...you can also e-mail her at ____@____.com if you have any more questions. She also says its non greasy and smells good!

My favorite is the RE9 line from Arbonne, it's expensive but is amazing. My mom is allergic to most cosmetic lines, but uses the entire Arbonne line with no problem and loves it too. My dermatologist recommends the Oil of Olay line for a less expensive alternative. She advised that it provides the same results if not better than many products from a department store. Good luck!

I have heard good things about the Aveeno line of products. They have facial wash pads, and a day and a night lotion. It's not expensive and I know it's been named as a good buy by several beauty magazines.
Might be a good place to start.

Hi G.,

I just bought and love the Oil of Olay Regenerist "Microsculpting" night cream. It has gotten rave reviews and won out creams costing hundreds of dollars.

I also use an olive oil line from a company called DHC (dhc skincare), you can order a catalogue and they send you free samples. I really love this product and it is great during these dry winter months.

Good luck, S.

Hi G.,
Along with the cream advice you are receiving, I thought I'd mention things that cause wrinkles that we can control.
In sunlight use a sunscreen and wear a hat.
Don't smoke.
Sleep at least 8 hrs a night.
Use relaxing techniques to break stressful feelings.
Drink lots of water, especially if you drink coffee, soda or alcohol.
Best of luck!

The best I've ever found is ReverseAge - it's even better than what I've gotten from places that do facials. The research behind it is the key - it restores your skin to the proper ph so it heals & creates new healthy skin cells. It has no extra additives or things that often irritate or dry out skin - yes I know, it sounds weird that some moisturizers cause drying, but they do! Everyone thinks I had a facelift or won the lottery because I look so much better! I swear by it! Don't waste your money on stuff from the drugstore. ReverseAge gives me a lot of "bang for my buck" because I use just a tiny amount every day! Let me know if you want more info on which products I use - it's a small line anyway so you don't have to invest in a whole bunch of things!
