Good Pediatrician on the West Side

We love our pediatrician from that place. She's Dr. Zipp. Who are you currently taking your daughter to? We switched from Dr. Walsh. Walsh and Zipp and totally different in the way they communicate with us. Good luck.

Dr Lisa Jiminez @ after hours peds. their located on Unser just N of Paseo, right by the Peter Piper! I lover her and her nurse! I've also seen Dr. Hawk over there and he's great too.

I am curious to know which Dr you were seeing in Pres on High Resort that you are not happy with....

If you can leave Pres, I have heard Dr John Good in the Rio Rancho Lovelace building is fabulous. I have a few friends who see him and they are very happy. Someone else mentioned Dr Phil on Southern and I have also heard good things about him. Dr Jane Kim-Hoffman in the Northside office is great, it isn't on the westside but it really isnt far (I-25 and San Antonio right off the interstate)

Hi, I am a mother of 3 boys, and I take all of them to Southwest Medical Assoc.,###-###-####. Our doctor is Marianne Freedman, I look forward to seeing her when we do go, that's how much I like her. She is very personable and of course has kids of her own. The other docs there are great too, Dr. Longfield (woman Dr.) is friendly and knowledgeable also.

I am not sure who you are seeing at Pres on High Resort but their are a couple good doctors at that facility. I have also heard that Dr Phil on Southern and Tarpon is a great peds doctor. He and his wife run the private practice. I hope you find a doctor for your little one! If I hear of any other recommended Peds doctors I will be sure to pass them on.

How funny, I also have a two year old (well 21mo.) old daughter and we just went through this same thing. My daughter had been seeing the same doc since she was born and we just weren't happy. I got some great responses, and a lot of people praised Dr. Zipp. Although she is not seeing new patients, I decided to try her group anyway. Boy was I surprised. We saw dr. Maben who had just moved here from KC and had only been seeing patients for a week. He is awesome!!! He helped me solve a problem we had been dealing with since my daughter was born. He also calls to check up on her. He is a realy answer to prayer. He is at West Mesa Pediatrics. It is off 528 behind Dions, in the new Presbyterian facility. I hope this helps and good luck.

After Hours Pediatrics will be opening up a clinic over there in the next few days, over by Paseo and Golf Course, if I remember correctly. Drs. Lisa Jimenez and Cecilia Concepcion (both formerly of Lovelace) will be over there, and both of them are wonderful physicians. They'll be hiring more doctors and I think PA's (physician assistants) in the near future too as they expand.
