I go to Macy's at San Tan mall in Gilbert. There is a counter in cosmetics called Benefit and the girl I use is named Alicia . I recommend her and would even suggest calling before you go in to make sure she is there :) She is awesome and listens to you and what you want. If you have never had it done before I don't think you would have to worry about them being grown out enough to do. Wherever you go, just be sure to tell them what you do (or don't) want and it should turn out well. Make sure they know it's your first time so they can tell you all the tips (don't touch the skin where it was just waxed until it has a chance to calm down etc.) Good luck! -S

I am G., and in addition to Hair Design, I do eyebrow waxing in my studio. I am very conservative in shaping the eyebrow particularly when it comes to first timers. I use a special wax that leaves no residue and as a result, there is little pulling on your delicate skin because this wax simply surrounds the hair and does not adhere to the skin. I am reviewed here at Mamasource under Hair Artistry By G.. I welcome you to read what others' experiences have been. You can reach me at ____@____.com recommended length is similar to that of an eyelash.

I went to White Lotus on Val Vista and Ray and they did a really great job. I too just like them cleaned up with out being made too thin and mine were perfect when they were done. $17.

Hi April,
My friend Lindsay was an esthetician for years at a fancy salon in Tempe, but left when she started having kids. She now does waxing out of her home. She's very good - I drive from Queen Creek just to have her do my brows (she's off of University and Gilbert in Mesa), because I think she does them better than anyone else I've been to.
Her number is: ###-###-####
Good luck!

I love Paula at Anderson Springs Day Salon in Chandler... it is at Dobson/Ray....

She does a great job! I was scared to try again... after a horrible first experience... but she is awesome. I have thick dark hair and brows and I want them to look natural, but neat. She is also VERY affordable.

I also have her do my upper lip when I go in....

Tell her Toni sent you. Hopefully she'll remember me! I haven't done it in a while since I've been on some meds that make me sensitive to the wax right now..
Good luck!
