Disney World Discounts

Not sure there are discount tickets available for park admission. Be careful about buying tickets from others because you won't know if they are legit. My tip is for you, your husband, and your older child to bring a backpack with drinks and snacks. You are allowed to bring food in the parks which will save you tons of money. Bring water bottles that you can refill to keep it lighter. We would eat a big breakfast and then just bring snacks for the day and then leave before dinner to avoid eating any meals at the park. If you are staying close, you could leave the park in late afternoon to eat an early dinner then head back to the park for the rest of the evening since most of them stay open late during the summer.

You can try looking at Craig's List to see who might have tickets to sell. Many times if you go to a time-share location for a tour, you are able to recieve at least 1 day pass. If you want information on the one I have (they have good offers to view) just email me back. We went to Orlando for Spring Break and viewed the new property they were opening. It took about 45 minutes, they fed us breakfast, had a supervised play room for our younger kids, a room with a huge TV and a WII for the older one and we left $100 richer for telling them "no".

I know there is another one but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. I moved to Houston 3 years ago from Orlando and did a college internship through Disney. I know things have changed a bit in the time I have been here but I lived there for 11 years so if you need more information, just let me know. Where are you planning to stay?

Go to a Disney store. I believe you can get discounts through them. Also, go to the Chamber of Commerce that has Disney World in it. They might have some discounts as well. Also, call the park. Because of the economy, they might have something available as well. Good luck and have a wonderful time!

Hi! I asked a very similar question to this last year! I ended up buying my tickets at the disney store like someone suggested here on Mamasource, but I found this website, www.hotelscorp.com (866) 864-9996, by mistake but ended up using them. It was a timeshare company that offered us discounted tickets to Disney parks,Universal Studios, and a discount on a hotel. We chose to use them for the hotel stay and it ended up not being bad. We did have to attend a time share presentation where they gave us all a complimentary breakfast and we had to tour the resort. We said no and they still by law honored their promise and we got our entire hotel for 5 nights for only $99 at the Ramada in Kissimmee that was really close to disney. They do have a rule that you can't attend a timeshare presentation if you attended one within the last two years already, i think. We saw many people trying to sell tickets while we were there and many people giving huge discounts on tickets, but they were all timeshare representatives too. We also noticed that when you scan your tickets at disney you also have to scan your thumb, I guess they do that now for security reasons incase you lose the ticket and someone else tries to use it with a different thumb print , it won't work. So if I were you I'd be careful of buying used tickets from strangers. I H. this helps! Good luck!

We just went to Disney World in June and I got our tickets at officialticketcenter.com. They were the cheapest ones I found online. We paid for 3 days and got 2 free days. We did notice while we were there that the prices at the gate were actually cheaper (I guess it is because of the economy right now), but the line was very long to buy them.
