My 2 year old daughter is constantly taking off her diaper at naptime and bedtime which means she wakes up wet along with everything in her bed. I have tried putting the diaper on backwards, taping the tabs of the diaper, putting on one piece outfits with the zipper in the back and she manages to still take everything off. Any suggestions on how to keep her diaper on?? Thanks in advance.

Either potty train or put some duct tape around the front of her diaper... that stuff is hard to get off. Sucks for you to change later, but it'd help keep it on.

i like the comment about duct tape. :-) i had to make a home made cloth diaper because of allergic reaction to huggies. any ways have you tried using training pants? that seems like the best bet right now. sounds like she is ready to start potty training. good luck.
Had the same problem. Use a pair of zip up footie pjs and right under the zipper put a safty pin horizontally it'll block the zipper make unzipping them impossible. Good luck!
Pull-ups? Also, if she is just beginning potty training during the day and is still in diapers make sure she wears pants at naptime with a belt or buttons that she can't get off herself. Also, one piece pajama's you can put on backward.
If she's used to being able to get that diaper off, and you duct tape it, she may go crazy when she discovers it's now impossible to get off and you may end up with a major meltdown every time. The duct tape would be for your convenience but wouldn't teach her anything. I'd spare her the frustration and start potty training, like others noted.
It could be because she is ready to use her potty.
My DS started doing that so we started potty training.
He doesn't use the potty EVERY time he has to go, but he's trying.
We let him take his diaper off when he has to go potty.
For my son, that stopped it. He hasn't taken his diaper off since.
That means it's time to start potty training!! When your child doesn't want a diaper on make a big deal about it and say "are you sure you're big enough?" OK, it's time to be a big girl-NO DIAPERS!!! My daughter started taking her diaper off at 20 months and was fully potty trained by 21 months! Good luck.
Try Pullups instead? Sounds like she might be ready to start potty training.
forget the pull-ups. Start potty training and don't give her liquids before nap time so you can help her stay dry.

Sounds like it's time to potty train. Have you tried putting her in Pull-ups? All three of my girls started taking off their diapers at around 9 months old. I used white Duct tape on the older two to hold the tabs down. I use cloth diapers now, so I just safety pin them on.
Duck tape?? If you do not like that option then maybe it is time to start using pull ups or potty training and ditching the diapers all together ... check on the net for other potty training readiness signs and see if she qualifies, if not then try putting her in clothes where she can not access the diaper.
start potty training. Use pullups for naps and nite time. But for actual learning to go on potty use the thick cotton panties ( target or walmart has them).
My oldest was getting rashes about 2yrs but when i tried to potty train her, no luck. We used pullups to prevent rashes cause you can see the pattern when wet or smell the pee earlier than diapers. She finally got the hang of the potty when daddy came home from deployment and grandparents got the potty chair that goes on the floor not the seat for the toliet.
